"E-excuse me?" you say, in shock.

Camille smiles and starts stroking your head with her dainty yet giant finger.

"I'm going to take you back to France to be my little pet. Don't worry though, I will take excellent care of you, and you will have a much better life than you could ever hope for here." she says affectionately.

You look at her as she smiles at you with a mixture of excitement and affection. A complex array of emotions is flowing through you. You feel embarrassed at the thought of being treated like some cute little pet as well as indignant that Camille just decided to keep you without even asking or caring that you have a family here. But you also feel slightly relieved that Camille doesn't plan on hurting you in any way. Even if she wants to take you away from your family and life as you know it to a foreign land to belong to her.

"How could being a pet be better than living my own life?" you ask, trying not to show that you're against the idea. The last thing you want is to make her upset.

Camille giggles in amusement at your question.

"Isn't it obvious little guy? You were almost eaten today, or at the very least you would've lived the rest of your life as a slave. Even if you escaped you would have been captured sooner or later. Face it. No matter what you would end up enslaved, on the run for the rest of your life, or in someone's stomach. With me you'll live a nice comfortable life. You won't be subjected to slavery; all you'll be is my cute little pet." replies Camille in a slightly smug tone.

Her brutally honest words hit you like a pile of bricks. Deep down you know what she said was true. Having Camille as your owner would secure your safety but at a terrible price: your free will. While they are in the vast minority, you've heard of norms who think tinies are adorable and all the humiliating things they have to endure. Endless snuggles, humiliating outfits, doing tricks, the list goes on and on. To you, you'd almost rather live a life of freedom and get eaten than willingly submit to a life as someone's pet. Quickly you think of a way to talk yourself out of your predicament.

"Ah um well err while you make a very good point, I'm afraid you can't adopt me." you say, trying to sound confident.

Camille brings you closer to her giant face.

"Awww and why is that little pup?" she asks sweetly.

Quickly you drum up a lie to keep your freedom.

"Well, you see, I technically belong to my mother until I'm 18 and then as long as I can stay out of the hands of a norm and have my own freedom. Since I'm 16 though, you'll have to wait 2 more years until you could adopt me." you say with growing confidence, certain you made up a convincing story.

Does Camille buy it?
