Chapter 19
You're half surprised, half not to see the bench empty with no sign of Tina. You look around the area for several minutes to see if maybe she is hiding somewhere around but you can't find her anywhere. You wonder what happened to her. She seemed quite set on staying there so Lisa could eat her instead of you. You figure that she either fled to save herself or someone else found her. You think about maybe going out to try and find her but before you can get too deep in thought the bell rings. Your heart starts pounding in fear, knowing that Lisa will be heading straight for the bench to see if Tina is bite-sized yet where she will undoubtedly find you. You have some time to decide since her class is on the opposite end of the school. As students start pouring out of the school you think of a few options:
1. Try to hitch a ride off someone passing by you. You see a girl walking towards you who looks like someone you can catch a ride from.
2. Run and hide somewhere nearby and hope your mom finds you before Lisa.
3. Make a run for it and hope that you can lose Lisa in the crowd and make it home.
