You manage to pull yourself to together. You tell yourself that Lisa only said those things because she's a bully, and that just because someone says something doesn't make it true. Especially if that person is someone who was obviously upset that she didn't get to eat you. With those reassuring thoughts, you try to not to think about Tina as you slide down the side of the bench and walk towards the school. As you walk to your first class of the day the image of Tina getting eaten alive by Lisa won't leave your mind. Lisa was right about one thing: to your knowledge she was the only girl who ever loved you, and now she's gone. As you walk down the hall, you hold your head high and with vigor in your heart you vow to live the fullest most productive life you can in memory of her.
