"HEY KEN!" Shouts Lisa as she happily walks over to you.
"O-Oh, hey Lisa." You say surprised.
"So Ken, you're on your way to class right?" She asks while smiling.
It was starting to weird you out that the same girl that was going to eat you this morning, was now talking to you like a good friend.
"Actually I was looking for Tina. I haven't seen her since, well you know." You say worried.
She then gently picks you up and says. "Well let me help you. I'm sure we'll find her faster if we work together."
"W-Why are you being so nice all of a sudden? Earlier today you were about to eat me, then you break down, and now you're super nice. You're not trying to give me hope just so you can take it away are you?!" You shout at her.
She stares at her feet for a few seconds before closing her eyes and taking deep breath and then looking at you.
"Look I promise I'm not going to do anything to you. I'm not an idiot, I know you probably only said those things to me so I wouldn't eat you." She says while trying to be gentle with you.
"But whether it was genuine or not, it still felt really good to hear. I don't want to go into detail here at school but, just consider me helping you as my way of saying thanks." She says sincerely.
