“We loved each other, were even talking about marriage, but one day at the beach, when I left to go get us a snack, I come back, and he’s gone. I never saw nor heard from him again. You tinies are great at running away.”
“So you think he ran away? I wonder if something happened to him, like someone or something grabbed him.”
“No!” she shouts at you defiantly. “Then my little love would be dead. No, he must have run away. It’s the only hope that someday I might see him again.”
“Why did you kidnap me away from my date?” you implore. “She’s going to wonder the same thing. Go through the same hurt.”
