Story 5
It was a sunny afternoon in Ponyville, and Twilight Sparkle was in her castle focused on her magic studies. She was currently in the middle of practicing one of her new spells in her library. For this new spell, Twilight had an apple perched on a pedestal and powered up her horn to test the new spell on that apple. However, she didn't notice that the young wizard, Anon, was spying on her from outside of the library.
"Hmm. I wonder what she's up to." Anon said. He tried to sneaking closer to Twilight to get a better look at her spell. But, if he didn't want to be seen, he had to make sure he was quiet enough so that she wouldn't notice him. As Anon got closer to her, Twilight was charging up her horn and prepared to fire at the apple.
"Come on. Come on!" Twilight concentrated as her magic seeped into her horn. "Here... we... go!" She shouted as the magic was released from her horn in a mighty blast of blue magical energy. The magic hit the apple and completely engulfed it. Twilight kept her focus on the spell as it kept covering the apple, but to her confusion, it had no effect on the apple.
Twilight was perplexed by how her spell didn't seem to work. She then got her focus back but struggled to keep her spell going as the magic began to dissipate. After a few more seconds, the spell completely faded and there wasn't even a scratch on the apple.
"Ugh. I thought that was going to work." Twilight panted. "Okay. One more try." Twilight tried to power up her spell again and was just about to fire it again. However, as Anon was watching her perform the spell again, he suddenly knocked a book off of a shelf. Once the book hit the floor, Twilight heard the noise and it startled her causing.
The sudden shock caused Twilight to accidentally shoot her spell and misfire it. Anon watched as the spell missed the apple, but then, it ricocheted off some of the walls and eventually hit him. It seemed that Twilight being startled must've energized the spell as Anon felt a powerful surge of magic enter his body before blacking out.
Once he woke, Anon quickly got his bearings and looked at his surroundings. "What the? Where am I?" He asked. But as he looked around, Anon recognized where he was. It was the same library, except all of the shelves were a lot bigger. Anon soon realized what actually happened once he saw the book he knocked over next to him on the floor. It was also bigger than him, much much bigger.
"It can't be, I shrunk!" Anon shouted. He barely reached up to a half of the book's height, so he figured he was less than inch tall now. "It must've been that spell." Anon then felt the ground shaking and looked to see what was causing it. It was Twilight, but to Anon's new perspective, she was gigantic, towering miles above him.
Twilight was walking to where the book fell and Anon felt her hoof steps as they shook the ground and made him lose his balance. Anon climbed on top of the book and started calling out to Twilight as she came up to it. "HEY TWILIGHT! DOWN HERE! IT'S ME ANON!" Anon shouted hoping Twilight would hear him, but to no avail.
"Hmm. How did this this book get on the floor?" Twilight asked. Anon covered his ears from the booming volume of her voice. "Oh well, better put it back." Twilight then covered the book with her magic and lifted it off of the floor. Anon felt the being levitated and tried to keep his balance, but it was growing difficult as Twilight brought the book over to its shelf and began tilting it vertically.
Once the book was completely vertical, Anon slid off of it and landed somewhere on Twilight's body. Where did he land on the Princess of Friendship?
