Chapter 25
Tails may be partly safe knowing that all the girls he impregnated are happy to have children growing inside them, but he was not out of the woods yet as they still didn’t know who exactly the father of their children are. Leaving now would just make him look suspicious and they would question him as he is smart and would find a way to cause their situation, so he thought he should stay with them and see how things play out. He was also curious in finding out more on what the girls think of being pregnant.
Amy and Sally were still in an argument trying to convince the other that the father is Sonic, but Tails is the only one who knows the truth. “Alright, we should have a medical professional settle this argument” Amy says while making her way to their doctor. “Excuse me doctor. Is it possible for you to tell us the species of the children growing inside us?”. The doctor had a frown on his face and said, “I’m sorry Miss Rose. But the embryos inside are barely developing. It’s way too soon to know what species it or they are or even what gender they are”. Amy just pouted after hearing that but then looks at her stomach happy with the fact there is a living thing growing inside her in which she started patting her flat stomach. She then walked back to Sally and says, “Look. We don’t know what our babies will look like. So I suggest we drop this argument and get along until they’ve grown large enough to actually give clues to who the father is”. Sally nods in agreement and shakes hands with Amy making a temporary truce to get along while both give a forced smile.
With Cream and Vanilla, Cream was bouncing with joy when she was gonna be a mother like her mama. “Careful Creamy. You might get sick again moving around so much”. Cream then stops and says, “Sorry mama. I’m just so happy that I get to be a mama and I want to be a great mama just like you”. Hearing that made Vanilla smile while forming a tear in her eye. She then needed to tell Cream what will happen while she’s pregnant. “Now Cream, you need to know as rabbits we end up with a large litter meaning we might have lots of babies growing inside us”. Hearing what her mother said, Cream was curious and needed to ask a question. “Is that true? Then why don’t I have brothers and sisters?”. Though sad, Vanilla tried the best she can to explain, “The doctor told me that though it is rare there are occurrences where rabbits will be pregnant with only one child. I’m so sorry Cream I couldn’t give you brothers or sisters”. Cream then hugs her mother tight and replies, “It’s okay mama. As long as I have you and my friends I’m never alone”. Vanilla smiles back and hugs her daughter back while Cream looks at her mom’s stomach and her own and continues with, “Well we won’t be alone as a family anymore”. Vanilla did forget to mention one thing and needed to her daughter. “One more thing Cream. Be ready to feel a lot of kicks and moving inside your tummy. Your babies will be very active inside you. I remember you were kicking up a storm when you were inside my belly”. “I think I would love to fell that. Feeling all those kicks inside me proof that something inside me is growing” Cream replies while giving her own stomach a pat while her mother gives another hug.
Blaze and Marine started talking about their plans with their future children. “Marine, did you really mean you will make a crew with your kids? What if you only have one child?” Blaze asks curious of what her friend will say. Marine replies, “No worries mate. I will make a family crew if I have enough ankle biters. Otherwise, if I only have one I will make them co-captain while we venture the seas in search of a loyal crew. Better yet, I have me friends to be part of my crew when I need them, right?”. Blaze just smiles and nods assuring Marine she has her back. Then it was Marine’s turn to ask a question. “What about you Blaze? Aren’t you curious who’s the daddy of your baby?”. Blaze replies, “I guess I am a little curious on who made me pregnant, but overall I’m glad that I now have an heir growing inside me proving the people of my kingdom wrong that I can have an heir. Maybe when I found out who the father is, I can develop a relationship with them since as you know my relationship with Silver didn’t go well and we should just remain friends. The mystery father and I with our child or children might be able to live happily together”.
Tails saw Bunnie alone and decided to walk toward her and start a conversation. “Hey Bunnie, how you holding up with the news?”. Bunnie then replies, “I don’t know. Though I’m happy to learn that I’m going to have a child or children, I know it’s not going to be Antoine’s as I mentioned before his sperm count is low and we tried many times to have a little one. It is even to the point that Antoine thinks we should see others and that I should have a family of my own. Now I don’t know if I should stay with Antoine though he doesn’t want to or should I find the mystery father who put a baby in my belly”. Tails who didn’t know what to say just winged it and says, “You should do whatever makes you happy. Antoine already have you the option to look for someone to start a family with or you can choose to stay with him as long he wants to take care of your child though it’s not his. You’re not planning on aborting the child are you?”. Tails was hoping to say no as it was his child as well and was relieved when she said, “No way! This is my baby that is growing inside my body. There is now way I’m going to have someone else tell me to get rid of it. Even if it is Antoine”. She looked confident in keeping the child making Tails happy. “Well, I hope everything works out for you Bunnie”. Bunnie was glad to have someone to talk to that wasn’t another girl and says, “Thank you Tails. You’re a great friend. You seem so much different and more mature then the fox I used to read bedtime stories to”. “No problem Bunnie. And know I will always be here for you if you ever need help or someone to talk to”. Bunnie just smiled and gave Tails a hug with him hugging her back.
After they had their conversations, their doctor walked towards them and said, “Alright ladies. You are free to leave the hospital if you like. I recommend coming every month to see the progress of your pregnancy and see how your babies are developing. They all said their Thank yous to the doctor and all left together with Tails following not too far behind. Once outside, all the girls gave their goodbyes to each other and went their separate ways. Tails thought maybe he should still follow some of the girls to continue not looking suspicious so he follows...
