A giant, sweat covered hoof enters your vision
Suddenly from the corner of your eye, you catch a movement that causes your blood to run cold.
One of the equine's back hooves rapidly lifted into the air and hung there for a split second.
Time seemed to slow down as an ominous, menacing shadow rose above until it eclipsed all visible light.
It was already over. You were done. You had been here nor more than half an hour or so, and already you were staring certain death in the face. Maybe if you'd been smarter, maybe if you'd taken the common-sense route of running away from the gigantic hulking beasts instead of toward them, you wouldn't be in this mess.
Time quickly reasserted itself and the hoof moved downward at a breakneck pace directly toward your stunned body.

You had only a split second to think, "Well, shit," before the hoof came crashing down.
