Gabriella is Samantha's mother. She's descended from Amazons and tends to be overprotective of her daughter. So she might be the tough one.
Carmen is Alex's mother. She really wants Alex to have a boyfriend, but also to have good grades. So she might be the smart one.
Look, not a whole lot of focus was done on them and there was a art change over time that had them look just like their daughters.

She's like Dexter's mom, happy to cook and clean, but would like a little appreciation every now and then.
