You laid back onto your pillow and relaxed your neck and shoulders before you peered over at Vanilla with half-lidded eyes.
She danced about the room, checking various instruments, and jotting things onto a clipboard while she hummed a little tune. Every so often she would bend over to check on something and you would get an eyeful of her bunny butt, and then turn away when she straightened.
In the background, noise droned from a wall-mounted TV on the wall opposite you. It had on some sort of news program if you're not mistaken, except instead of people serving as the anchors it was an anthropomorphic fox lady. A pretty cute one at that. You had to remind yourself that the desk at which she was sitting is probably as tall as you are, if not more.
You turned your attention away from the TV and back to Vanilla, who was carefully dusting the window blinds with cleaning supplies she likely brought from home and sighed.
This... was boring. While you had to admit the bed in which laid was pretty comfortable, and while it was probably best to lie back and relax, you were feeling restless. Now that you've had your breakfast, you couldn't help but feel the urge to get up and try to work out some of that energy you had been given. Maybe you could even get to explore around a little bit. You didn't think you would have any trouble walking on your own, at the very worst you might need some minor assistance, but you weren't quite clear about the hospital protocol for this type of thing Oh well, there's only one way to find out.
You cleared your throat and asked softly, "Uh, Miss Vanilla?"
Her sensitive ears immediately twitched as they picked up your sound, and Vanilla turned her head and smiled at you. "Yes, sweetie? Is there anything I can get for you? I hope you're not hungry again already," she joked.
You shook your head. "No, no. Nothing like that. I was just wondering if I could perhaps get up and go for a walk, I'm feeling restless and I just need to move my legs to function. As you can probably guess I'm not used to situations such as... this."
Vanilla's eyes brightened and her smile became bigger. "I don't see why not. A little exercise and fresh air would do you some good. I'm sure Dr. Deephorn would approve. You're not hooked up to an IV or anything so getting you out of bed should be simple."
"And if I trip and fall on the ground and bonk my head it will be okay since we're already in a hospital." You chuckled at your little joke while Vanilla rolled her eyes, then threw off the covers from your feet with a grin. "Alright then let's go!"
