You looked around for your clothes, as your sensing spell didn't pick up your book anywhere nearby.
Which was a bad thing.
Either she was using it to get all sorts of gems (like turning people she didn't like into crystal statues of either themselves or of herself) or she was using it for pranks. You suspected that energy from the Chaos Emeralds could be used as a substitute for magic mana, but you knew tests had to be done.
Or she decided to sell it. That could either lead you on a journey to get the money for it or you lost it forever.
Grandma would be furious in that last one.
So you managed to find some clothes... though none of yours.
Somehow, Rouge had boyshort panties in your size. You found some black yoga pants and a tank top, also in your size. That made you suspect that she did use the book.
So after you got dressed, you left through a door and saw that you were in a really expensive apartment complex.
After heading down the stairs and heading outside, you saw you were in a city. You muttered, "Then again, she does own a night club, one styled like a pinball machine or something."
You picked up a rock and used a spell to turn it into a magic compass that pointed at your spellbook. Either it would lead you to the spellbook or to the most recent spot where it was used.
You began to follow it and making sure you stuck to the alleyways, as you did not want to run into Amy or any amazon furries that made Amy look normal.
That and you did not want to be caught dead wearing Rouge's clothes and panties.
