You winced on the tone but her reaction was to be expected, nobody would want to be eaten willingly, however, you weren't anybody and while not in full power, you were still able to make basic spells and shields.
You found out that Amy took a sizable chunk of your power to herself, it's going to take days, maybe months before you could recover it naturally and this is a reality you had spoken with Cream.
"Cream I know it sounds crazy but even with a lack of power, I would survive being eaten and inside somebody. Think of this, Amy hadn't come here for you to hang out, I'm afraid that she is experimenting with magic even without the book and if it's the case, she'll be able to find me if she develop magical sense."
"Is there no other way?" She asked. You shook your head.
"No Cream.. I'm afraid no, if she develop magical sense, she'll be able to feel me through solid objects but if it's under flesh, blood and bones, I would've bee able to be shielded as anybody had some sort of magical potential in their veins, she'll think nothing of it and leave.. I understand that this insane but... well, I'm afraid I need to be kept hidden.
