Suddenly, Amy's eyes opened wide, and a white light came pouring out of them.
That light began circling around her, spinning faster and faster until she was encased in a white cocoon.
The magical chrysalis slowly began to shrink until it shrank smaller than Amy's body, a real feat given the size she was before.
Eventually, the light became a little orb floating just above the floor before settling down gently to the ground.
The group watched with bated breath, waiting for something to happen.
The light suddenly winked out of existence as it ran out of fuel, and in its place was something strange, a hot pink, realistic-looking hedgehog that looked just as surprised to be there as anyone else.
Your mouth hung open in shock, unable to process what you were seeing.
Did.. your grandma do this?
You knew that she was strong and a skilled wizard but you had no idea that she could be capable of something like this.
Suddenly a swirling portal full of multicolored lights opened up, and your grandmother's voice came through it, clear as crystal. "Bring the hedgehog through the portal and don;t dally, child. I'd like to speak with you about some things. Bring your friends too, if they wish to come along."
The voice fell silent, and you looked over in shock to Vanilla, who shrugged with a worried, pensive look of her own.
Well... if your Grandma's calling you it's best not to keep her waiting.
You picked up the frantically scutting hedgehog once known as Amy Rose, and after taking a deep calming breath, you stepped through the portal.
