Cup Cake couldn't believe her luck, a new male just entered the town and she was the only one that managed to get him! The best part is that he didn't run or objected to her advance and now she was carrying him to her home and business which also shows those looking at her, already with disappointed and dispairing looks on their faces, that he belongs to her.
She wasn't the one that was sadistic in any manner but felt a bit of elation and satisfaction seeing those faces, and while she wasn't showing it, she was feeling smug about it.
"Do not worry, Daerie, I'll take care good of you." She says.
"Ahh, I can walk, Mrs.. "
"Cup Cake, sweetie." She paused while giving him a sad smile, "and I'm afraid that I can't do that, some less savory mares could snatch you from me and never let you out again." "And away from me, that's it." She added mentally. She is been outwardly altruistic about it, but in reality, she is a bit selfish too. True, what she said was the truth, some mares here were quite... predatory in their behavior (The Flower Trio comes to her mind, which makes this all too ironic now that she thinks about it) but she also has needs.
She loves Carrots and the children he has provided to her, but both agreed that things have been getting stale as of late. Carrot went to her out of necessity years ago, back when Ponyville was a bit more wild and unfriendly to stallions, but Carrot revealed that he was just as thirsty as she was, and both enjoyed each other company, but now Carrot wants to look for other mares and spread his progeny
And frankly, she agrees, she wants to look at other stallions and how lucky she was on finding one.
Contrary to what many ponies believe, they weren't married, at least, officially; both were in a herd, yes, but they were the weirdest ones as Carrot never courted any other mare beside her, and mostly because at that time Ponyvilles' females weren't exactly welcoming.
"Oh... I can defend myself, you know; I know magic."
"Maybe, but not from Unicorn mares, dearie; they know how to disrupt magic from males."
"My magic isn't of the conventional one."
"Oh but is better safe than sorry." "And harvest your seed before anypony else do" She added mentally with a grin
Carrot was gone, alongside Pound in looking for mares and fillies, respectively; leaving her with Pinkie and Pumpkin to take care of the business. The Twins weren't foals anymore, so she already count on Pumpkin and her magic, and Pinkie already knows a lot of how to bake and already works under her so she wasn't exactly lacking any hands.
But she was already feeling lonely and despite being a mother and owner of a bakery, she was first and foremost, a mare with needs, and one that like to have it fulfilled
"Here we are~!" She announced the gingerbread-looking house was in their view now, she felt the male in her arms tense, he likely knew where this was going, but it was too late now, as soon as both entered the building, there was no going back, he was hers.
