Just for kicks, you decided that you were going to write a little note to the princess and sign it. After all, all of this could just be a nothingburger, the teleportation spell could be just for show and not actually for teleporting the reader into the fantasy. Besides, you're most likely not the first to read this and the princesses are probably far too busy to field every single stallion who decides to sit down and write a letter on a whim. That would just be too silly.
You conjured a ball-point pen into your hand and leaned over the parchment to write a letter to Luna, describing in explicit detail what you would like her to do to you and closed it off with a "Your faithful subject, Anon" as requested before setting the pen down with a satisfied hum.
There, that ought to do it. The parchment should be bursting into flames and disappearing into thin air any minute now. Aaany minute. Yep.
You glanced at your watch and stared at the seconds ticking by, then back down at the piece of paper with a slight frown.
Did you do something wrong? You're pretty sure you did it right, dotted all your I's crossed all your t's, and even supplied your name just like the magazine instructed at least to the best of your abilities. Sometimes old magic tends to be a bit finicky and exacting for it to work. The parchment itself could be too old to properly contain the spell and some of it might've bled out over time.
