"Eh?! You want me to dance?"
"Uh—well—I-I mean—" you stammered a few seconds longer as you tried to correct your faux pas. "I-I remember hearing about the Half-Genie Festival in Arena Town, though I didn't get a chance to go, but..."
"Oh, I see how it is." Shantae shrugs again, rolling her shoulders. "Suppose it wouldn't hurt to give you a quick dance, lets me practice to see if I've got it working right."
"Huh? Got what working right?"
"Oh right, I suppose you wouldn't be too familiar with that part of me." Shantae began pushing stuff out of the way to make space on her living room floor. "While I do dancing every so often at the hall in town, the main draw is using them to transform into a variety of animals. It's helped a lot in the past, and recently I've been working on making them be more... human-ish."
Shantae having anthro transformations? That's certainly new. "R-really?" you noted, disguising your surprise with a different brand of surprise, "I'd certainly want to see that."
"Really? Well then, let me show you one!"
Shantae took her place in the middle of the cleared spot, bouncing in place a few times before beginning to dance—her hips swaying side to side, her belly ever-so-slightly jiggling (though not as much as her breasts above them), and most notably, a soft glow of magic coming off her skin. She swapped from pose to pose, keeping up the rhythm, the light soon growing bright enough that you had to shield your eyes from it. And when the light cleared, Shantae had transformed, taking the form now of an anthropomorphic...
