Kinako hummed a little song to herself as she wandered towards Liella's club room, a basket full of Hokkaido mushrooms in one hand. She had gotten these from an elderly neighbor of hers in Sapporo right before she left at the end of spring break, who told her to share them with the rest of her friends.

What Kinako didn't know was that anyone who ate the mushrooms would either grow giant or become quite tiny! Yes, these were the classic size-changing mushrooms...

Kinako left a bowl of the various colored mushrooms on the table for the other girls to eat after practice. An unconventional post-exercise treat maybe, but a delicious and hearty one for sure!

"They'll all love how these taste, you can't get mushrooms this yummy so readily in the city!"

Humming happily, Kinako strolled off to the rooftop to join the other members of Liella in their dance routine.

An hour later, the sky became dark and cloudy with rain starting to drizzle down, ending the girls' practice prematurely. The eleven soaked school idols rushed back to the club room, only to be greeted with the delicious aroma of Kinako's specially roasted mushrooms. After drying themselves off the best they could, the girls gathered around the club room's kotatsu, with the bowl of freshly roasted mushrooms in between them all.
