Bonnie smiles down at you.
"So, you say you need to win matches to get your size back? That Touko has some kind of growth serum?" she asks. You nod nervously.
"How do you figure your odds are looking for that first match now Tony?" the captain continues, standing over you at your full height.
You swallow hard, nervously. "Well, honestly I was hoping we could make some kind of an arrangement, that I could get you to throw the match for me?" you ask meekly.
Bonnie, Jessie, and Cassidy laugh heartily while Molly joins them a beat late.
"You sure you want to be bargaining with pirates mate?" Cassidy asks you from behind.
"No, that's OK Cass, we're a reasonable lot, ain't we ladies?" she asks her crew with a smile.
"I tell ya what Tommy. I don't like to lose, but color me sympathetic tonight. I'll let you have this one," she says with a smile. You couldn't believe your luck!
"On...one small condition of course," she continues after a beat.
Your heart freezes, you know you won't like her terms.
"After you win and get that growth formula from our buddy Touko, you bring it right back to us and share it with your new crew. After all, we're equal partners in this, right?" she says with a smile.
"B...but we don't even know if it'll work for you," you stammer in response.
"You let me worry about that little guy," Jessie says confidently.
"Aye, Jessie here, she knows some things about some things," Bonnie confirms.
They have you in a tough spot. Trying to share your growth serum 5 ways wouldn't leave much to restore your size, and that's assuming that they bother to share it at all. On the other hand, if you don't accept the deal your odds were good that you wouldn't get the win you needed to get the serum in the first place.
