One of the beasts lunged forward! You braced yourself pulling up a fold in Jinxie's Hakama skirt in your defense. It was Rats! Tree rats! The three of them circled around you waiting to pounce when given the chance.

A rat bite might cause a nasty infection.. but at this size, it could probably amputate on of your limbs.

Jinxie was humming a soft melodious tone but she could sense certain movement within the edges of her purple skirt. As the three rats landed fully on her skirt an ominous voice boomed from above.

"You are now in my domain now.. Yokai.." Jinxie spoke eerily and menacingly, starring daggers towards the group messing about, beneath her. It seemed her disposition was anything but cheery when it came to exorcising Yokai. Was this a side of Jinxie not portrayed in the games?

The three tree rats stood their ground as a fourth smaller rat came forth from the shadows and to your horror.. it spoke.

"Fellow Yokai! Come with me if you want to live!" It offered its shaking paw towards you, in fear of what is to come.
