When you were telling her about the Matt Engard... Shrunk by Ace Attorney Girls - Definitive Edition chapter 19 by copier · original author: keyblade

You were running out of time. You had to find some way to stop her from killing you. There must have been something you could use to stop her. Anything you could tell her that would.....wait...there was something. Something you just told her that would convince her to let you go.

"Well, I guess I've had enough of you. I suppose I shouldn't let you suffer like this. So I guess I should-"

Wait! Please, stop." You said weakly.

"Hm? What now? More lies?"

"You said I was lying to you. But it looks to me, like I was telling the truth after all."

"What are you, death? I just told you that you couldn't be from this world. So there's no way for you-"

"And yet I still know about it, don't I?!" Adrian took a step back as you rose your voice to her.

"I may not be from this world. But that doesn't change the fact that I know about the Matt Engarde case. If you claim that I'm a liar, then how could I possibly know about those things?!" Just then, her face turned from one of anger, to one of surprise and confusion. Sure, you weren't from this world, yet you still knew about the the Matt Engarde case. How was that possible? Adrian wondered. Until you spoke up again.

"You want to know how I know all these things? It's because You're from a video game world. This whole world you live in is nothing but pixels, and a predetermined storyline. In short, you don't even, really, exist." It was hard for you to say that last part, but it also had to come out if you were to get out of this ordeal alive. But even then, you didn't know what her next action would be.

"No.....it...can't be. THERE'S JUST NO WAY!" Just then, her grip on you returned, and you could feel some more ribs starting to crack.

"I CAN'T BE THE ONE WHO LIVES IN A VIDEO GAME! I KNOW WHAT I SAW! I SAW YOU COME OUT OF A VIDEO GAME! IT WAS YOU, NOT ME!!!" She was starting to flail around and about. You were starting to get sick. But something she said caught your attention.

"Wait! Calm down Ms Andrews! What do you mean I was the one that came out of a video game?!" This was enough to get her to stop tossing you around like a rag-doll. But her face had tears running down it like a river.

"I found a small handheld game, in a trashcan on the side of the street. I thought someone had left it there by mistake. So I came back home to keep it in a safe place, and called the police about lost and found. They told me to hold onto it, and that they would get back to me in a little while. Then I got bored waiting for them to call me back, so I decided to play with it for a little bit. That's when I saw you in the game. It looked like you were playing with a device almost exactly like the one I was using. And then, there was a bright flash of light coming from your device. And then there was an even brighter one coming from the one I was holding. And the next thin I knew, you were laying on the screen. Unconscious." Everything she just told you was a different story than you were hoping to hear. From the way she said it, the one who was living in a video game world-
