"C'mon, keep going! You're almost there little guy!"
No longer able to stop yourself, you look down. Pearl's lap is far away, what looks like fifty feet from your perspective. Pushing yourself into the cloth once more, the familiar scent no longer relaxes you, but rather reminds you of your size, your place, as a bug crawling on a little girl's dress, solely for her amusement. Before she speaks again though, you shunt out all thought, and resume the climb.
You feel disconnected from yourself, the rustle of the fabric around you muted in your ears, as well as the occasional giggles above. Your limbs long since began to ache, but even that is dull. You feel yourself climb not because you have the strength, but because you have nothing else left to do.
To run from her toes to her forehead would be a marathon to you, this little girl, you realize, is your new world. You are hers, and that is in fact a mercy, because without her there would be no way to help yourself.
Finishing both your mental and physical journeys, you manage to pull yourself over her collar, her porcelain-white skin a vast expanse before you. The powerful breathing of this tiny girl is blatantly visible to you, each of her resting breaths more than capable of blowing you away as you panted there, desperate for even a thimble-sized bit of air that the giant seemed to steal from you, unintentionally.
