Jill wondered if she and Tyler made the right decision when she went with Marissa. She knew that she would have the rest of her life to think about it though. After a few hours of last minute packing, Marissa and her family were off from their home in New York State to the wild wild west of Idaho. While Marissa's mom and dad seemed nice, they were skeptical about Marissa's decision. And Jill and Tyler's decision for that matter. It wasn't that they thought that their daughter would hurt the little boy and girl, but that she was like a child with toys. And children often outgrow toys.
Jill pondered all of this as her head rested against Marissa's soft breast in the car. Marissa was cradling her like a baby with one hand while Tyler sat on her lap, his torso and head held securely against Marissa's stomach with her other hand. Marissa herself was asleep in the back of the family car. Marissa's mother was asleep as well. Only her father was awake to drive.
"Can you sleep?" Jill asked.
"No," Tyler answered. "I wonder if we did the right thing."
"I know," Jill replied. "I think we're going to be wondering that for a while. I don't see how it can be any worst than what we've already been through." Tyler remained silent on that point. He could think of ways it could be worst.
"Do you think you can wiggle out of there and come down here?" Tyler asked. Jill struggled a bit against the Marissa's soft bosom and slid down her shirt to where Tyler was resting. Marissa cooed in her sleep at the sensation, but didn't stir. Jill managed to wedge herself between Marissa's arm and stomach, sitting on the opposite leg from Tyler. He reached out his hand and took hers. "Whatever happens," he said softly. "I'm glad you're with me."
Jill leaned foreward and kissed Tyler on the mouth. "I never could have made it through today without you," she whispered. The pair finally managed to fall asleep holding each other's hands.
