"...why don't I pack you guys up and take you with me?" Marissa's smile was radiant as she made her proposal. Jill and Tyler could only look at each other in shock. "It would be so much fun," Marissa continued. "When I'm not in school, we can play games and have parties and..."
"Marissa," Tyler interrupted. "Listen, you seem really nice, but we have families and stuff here. They can get the people at the school taken care of."
Marissa's face turned serious as she looked at the little people on her table. "They've really done a good job of keeping it from you, haven't they?" she asked.
"Keeping what from us?" Jill asked, more than a little bit alarmed. Marissa opened a box with a few books in it. She found a folder and opened it up. In it was a news story printed from the internet. Marissa layed it down for Jill and Tyler to read. The story was about a young man named Phil Bemine, an exceptionally small tiny, one about three inches tall. He was the first tiny person to be sent to a normal sized school. The story documented all sorts of sexual humiliation and torture that he faced at the hands of the girls who populated his school. Jill and Tyler's stomachs both turned as they finished the story, in which the last witness described a girl stuffing Phil into her panties and leaving school with him, never to be seen again.
"That's terrible," a pale Jill finally said. The story described months of days that she and Tyler had experienced, some of them much worst than what they had gone through.
"Law enforcement won't do anything," Marissa said. "You're legally not considered human." She pulled out another page, this one from the department of justice website. It said that because the nature of the "tinies" was so bizarre and their toxological classification so unclear, they wouldn't be considered "human" for the purposes of law enforcement. Jill wanted to throw up. "I won't kidnap you," Marissa said. "But you can come with me and live safely and happily or I can call your parents and you can go back to face the world that views you as mere objects." Tyler and Jill...
