A Glorious Death! Part I My name is Jill Tiny chapter 20 by copier · original author: rainman1131

"We need to find a way out of this mess, Jackie," said Jill.

Jackie nodded.

Jill and Jackie looked at each other, each girl asking a question with her eyes: Yeah, but how?

Jill shook her head, then stared out at the scale-model city that stretched across the big room. "I don't know, Jackie. I just don't know. Any ideas?"

"No." The dark-haired girl pinched her nose between her fingers, and narrowed her eyes in thought. "But I'll tell you, Jill, I can't just murder a bunch of people, even if they are tiny."

The pretty blond nodded. "I know, Jackie. Me either. My mom's gonna have Cindy killed if we don't, though."

"You think she really would, Jill? I mean, she is your mom."

Jill crossed her arms, shivering a little. "Jackie, if you had asked me something like that a couple of days ago, I'd have punched you, but they way my mom's acting now..." Jill shrugged. "Yes. If we don't destroy this city and kill all the little people in it, I think my mom will let that twisted bitch Kurtz kill Cindy."

Jackie nodded. "Yeah, I think so, too." She tried for a different subject. "Why don't we check this place out? Maybe we'll get an idea, or a plan or something."

"Okay," replied Jill, not really very enthused.

The two girls began walking down the miniature street, looking around as they moved slowly between the buildings.

It looked almost exactly like a full-sized city, complete with many different types and sizes of buildings, paved streets and sidewalks, green parks, and vacant lots. Jill saw that a line of foot-tall street lights ran up each side of the street, and she knelt down, grabbing one of the thin poles between her fingers.

"Wow, this is kind of cool, Jackie. It looks real. It-" Jill stopped, as she easily lifted the little lamp post into the air. She turned it over in her hands, feeling how light it was, apparently made out of plastic.

"Oh," Jill said, sounding disappointed. "It's just a toy. Like doll stuff or something."

Jackie nodded, looking around. "Yeah. Doesn't surprise me. They put a lot of effort into making this look like a real city - I mean, the buildings and the streets and stuff, but it's all for show." Jackie peered into the fourth-floor windows of the building in front of her. "Yep. I thought so. Look at this, Jill."

Jill set the toy lamp post down, and stood up next to her friend, joining her at the bank of windows.

"Oh!" exclaimed Jill, pressing her face closer to the tiny window. "There's nothing inside! It's hollow!"

"Yeah. It's just for looks. Just some big's idea of the perfect little building in the perfect little city. Not functional at all, just cosmetic."

Jill turned to look at her friend. "So where are the people?"

"I've seen a couple, I think. They darted around the corner of a building back there." Jackie scanned the streets behind them, then in front. "I bet there's a bunch of them watching us right now. Probably, they're afraid of us."

Jill nodded as she started to walk down the street again, peering down in front of her as she went. "Can't blame them, really."

"No," Jackie said, stepping up next to Jill. "Let's try to find somebody."

"Get out of here, giants!"

Both girls looked down.

"Oh! Oh, my!" Jill said, smiling. "There's one of them now."

Down near Jackie's foot, on the sidewalk below, stood a young boy, no more than seven years old. He stood about as high as Jackie's ankle.

"I said get out of here!" And now the tiny boy reared back with his right arm and threw a rock at Jackie's ankle. It bounced harmlessly off her jeans-clad leg, and it was barely hard enough for Jackie to feel.

"Ouch," said Jackie, trying to keep the smile out of her voice. She turned to Jill, her dark eyes alive with hilarity. "I think we're under attack."

As if to re-enforce this idea, the little boy heaved another rock, this time in Jill's direction. The tiny pebble hit Jill just below the knee, and, because she was wearing shorts, she did feel a tiny tap on her bare skin.

"Owww!" Jill shouted, clamping a hand to her 'wound'. "He got me, Jackie!"

The little boy jumped up and down, raising his tiny arms in the air. "That's what you get! Now, go away, giants!"

Both girls looked at each other, each trying hard to hold in their laughter.

Then, from over between the buildings on their left, they heard another tiny voice."Willam! William! What are you doing? Get back over here! Now!"

The little boy looked toward the building. "I'm fighting 'em, Mom. I'm fighting the giants!"

The tiny woman burst out of the opening between two buildings, her bare legs pistoning out in long strides, covering the ground between her and the little boy in a matter of seconds. Jill noticed she was tall, by little-people standards, and had a lean, tight-looking physique. She wore running shorts and a cut-off sweatshirt, showing off her fine, toned limbs. Her long blond hair was tied back in a ponytail, reminding Jill a little of Cindy, but, with the lithe, athletic body and high-cheeked visage, she reminded her even more of a Viking warrior maiden. A Valkyrie.

The woman, as tall as Jackie's mid-shin, put her arms around the boy's shoulders protectively, and glared up at the two giant girls. "What is your purpose here?"

Both girls looked down at the tiny mother and son, speechless.

"Well?" asked the little woman.

"Uh," Jill said slowly. "We were just, you know, visiting." As soon as she said it, Jill knew how lame it sounded.

The woman crossed her arms over her ample chest. "Just visiting, eh? Didn't know this was a vacation destination for the biggies. I think that travel agent saw you two coming. Where you staying?" She jerked a thumb behind her. "In one of the big hollow buildings?"

Jackie smiled. "No need to be sarcastic."

The wise-cracking blond stared up at both girls, then looked down at her son. "Go now, William," she said, patting his head. "Take the back way home."

"But, Momma-"

She gave him a fairly stout smack on the bottom, eliciting a surprised yelp. "Owww!"

"Now, William."

The boy hung his head, nodding. "Yes, ma'am," he said quietly, sounding disappointed. He turned to look up at the two giant girls. "You better not hurt my mom!"

"Don't worry, we won't," Jill said, wondering if it was a promise she would be able to keep.

Before the boy disappeared between the buildings, Jackie added quickly, "We may be big, William, but we're not stupid. We don't want to get hit by any more of those rocks."

The little boy looked up at Jackie sternly, nodding. "I bet you don't, giant!"

Jill and Jackie managed to wait a few moments, until the boy was out of sight and well away, before dissolving into a giggling fit.

Below, the little blond stood looking up at the two giant girls, arms crossed, a bemused expression on her face. When, at last, they stopped giggling, she called up, "I'll ask you again, what is your purpose here?"

"He was so cute!" gushed Jill.

"Oh, yeah," agreed Jackie, still chuckling a little.

"Hey!"

Both girls looked down at the little woman.

"You know," said Jackie. "You're pretty bossy for someone who's doll-sized." Jackie made a point to move her foot a little closer to the small woman.

The blond woman looked at the huge sneaker-clad foot in front of her; it came nearly up to her waist. Then she looked back up at Jackie. "I heard you two talking before. I know what you're planning to do to us."

Jill then tells her...
