Jill's truth! My name is Jill Tiny chapter 15 by copier · original author: burner2012

Ria had to make up her mind about what Jill told her quickly. If she chose to believe Chloe, Jill would be condemned to a life as pet.

Jill couldn't see Chloe or the others yet, but she knew that it would only be mer moments before she would be out. Jill began to bow her head, closing her eyes tight in the fear that Ria would wait too long to decide before Chloe came back. Ria then lifted Jill up to eye level, a serious look on her face.

She told Jill, "If that's true, we should leave" Jill, opened her eyes in surprise. She looked up to Ria's face, hopeful all of the sudden, but couldn't bring herself to smile, yet. Nothing she had done so far, aside from throwing up the drugged orange juice, had gone the way she had hoped. She was shocked that Ria chose to believe her instead of ignoring her pleas like the rest of them.

Then she got up, taking a last look to the cabin to make sure no one was coming toward her. She then pressed Jill to her chest gently, turned away from the cabin and began to run away from the cabin.

About a minute later, they were outside the beach's boundaries and on a sidewalk next to the beach. Ria looked around for her mom's car, but apparently her mom had already left.

She put Jill onto her shoulder and reached into her pants pocket, pulling out a red and gold colored cellphone. She pressed a series of numbered buttons and then swiftly put it to her ear as it began to contact her mom's phone. It connected after a moment and Ria's mother's voice came onto the ear piece.

"Hun?" Her mother's mature voice asked, calling Ria by her nickname. Ria looked around for a place her mother could pick her up at. She saw City Hall a block away.

"Mom! I need you to pick me up. Now! It's an emergency!" Ria yelled into the mouth piece, urgently. Then she, gently grabbed hold of Jill from her shoulder, who was taken by surprise and let out a yelp. Ria pressed Jill back against her chest as gently as before and started to run down the side walk toward City Hall.

"O-Okay, but why? What's the-" Her mother manage before Ria interrupted.

"Mom, please! Now's not the time! I'll tell you when you get there. Just meet me at City hall A.S.A. now!" Ria told her, then pressed the disconnect button on her phone, saving it back into her pocket as she continued running to City Hall.

She had to cross a freeway before getting to the correct block, during which a rushing by car nearly hit her and Jill, leaving her shaken from the close call. What a hazardous birthday this was turning out to be.

Ria and Jill soon arrived a City Hall with Ria huffing and puffing in great exhaustion. Jill could hear and feel the sped up pace of her heart, thumping particularly fast. Ria shakily walked up the steps of City Hall until she got to the second to last step. She then turned around to face the street and collapsed onto her backside, a bit roughly. She now anxiously awaited her mother's arrival.

Ria then pulled Jill away from her chest, setting her down by her side. Ria then leaned back with her hands pressed to the ground so she would fall back as she continued to huff and puff from exhaustion, her face now red with sweat covering it and a tired look on her face.

Jill now felt intense gratitude toward Ria for saving her from Chloe. She looked up to her and a small smile came onto her face as she turned away slightly

"Thank you, Ria. You have no idea how grateful I am to be free of Chloe. I'm in your debt." Jill said, a thankful look on her face. Ria just smiled, feeling a bit proud of her decision.

"Your welcome, *huff* and besides. You...*huff* probably would have done the same *huff* for me if I was *huff* in you shoes." Ria said between breaths. Jill couldn't help but chuckle.

"I think that would be impossible." They both had a short laugh. Ria then paused, thinking about Chloe. The Chloe she knew and not the real Chloe. "I feel so betrayed... The Chloe I'd gotten to know was so nice. So generous... But what she's doing, keeping those poor, little people against their will and brainwashing them so they think it's normal to be a pet... That's just... So... Sick!" Ria managed in a yell aimed up to the sky. Ria finally began to cool off as she wiped the sweat off of her forehead.

Then Ria's Cellphone's ring tone went off, making Ria flinch, caught off guard. She reached into her pocket, bringing the Cellphone back out as she looked at it's screen to see who it was. 847 - 3268: Chloe Darsie.

Ria knew full well that she would get a call from her sooner or later. She was about to press answer, but then she thought, Wait. Why should I even talk to her after figuring this stuff out!? She lied to me straight to my face and she didn't even regret it! If anything, she deserves an ear ache and I'd be glad to give it to her!

Should she answer the call and tell Chloe off, or let it ring and continue talking with Jill as she waited for her mother to arrive?
