Ria the Understanding My name is Jill Tiny chapter 14 by copier · original author: burner2012

Jill stayed with Ria while the rest of the girls went to dress. Ria put a hand in front of Jill to block the wind from hitting her, still under the belief that she was ill with a disease that shrunk her when she came in contact with cold temperature.

Jill sat down, curled up into fetal position. She said absolutely nothing, not even to attempt to convince Ria that Chloe was lying to her. She just sat there, a blank and sad expression on her face. Ria saw this and thought that she should try to cheer her up.

"Hey. Don't be sad, Jill. I told you I would keep you warm." Ria told her. Jill only tighten up her curling, making a sad, soft whine. She had started to cry into her lap. "What's wrong?" Ria asked concerned.

"It won't matter what I say to you...you'll just think it's a part of that lie." Jill told her, not bothering to lift her head. By now, Ria was starting to get suspicious of what Chloe told her. Jill seemed a little too upset for it to be a symptom of any illness of any kind.

"Why don't you tell me your side of the story, Jill." Ria requested, removing her hand from in front of her. Jill didn't move for a moment, but when she looked up, she saw Ria's reassuring, smiling face. Jill decided to at least try.

"...Before I tell you anything, please understand that I was born this way, at this size. I was never any bigger than I am now, nor am I Chloe's 'patient' in any way. There isn't a such thing as a shrinking disease, only a genetic flaw where humans are born at this size and even smaller." Jill explain first and foremost. Ria's smile disappeared into a now serious look. She nodded in understanding.

"So how did you really end up with Chloe?" She asked, encouraging Jill to continue. Jill would have to tell her the whole story, from beginning to end to make sure Chloe wouldn't come up with anything to save herself from exposure. Jill uncurled herself and scooted to the edge of her palm, letting her feet hang from the edge. She looked back at Ria's face.

So with that, Jill began to explain everything to her. "...It all started two days ago. I got transferred from my old school, full of people as small as me, to this school. The teacher put me with this weird girl, Kim, who tried to fondle me...needless to say, that's exactly what happen... That's when Chloe showed up and saved me from that girl. At first, she seemed like she was nice, but then she brought me to her house to live in this weird miniature city she made. I wasn't the only one of what you normal people call 'tinies', that she was keeping there. I swear there were at least twenty others. She'd claimed she rescued them, but something seemed off. They all seemed too happy and far too willing to do whatever she asked of them. After that, I told her I wasn't interested in being a part of her fake town and that I wanted to go home, but she wouldn't allow it and said that I was going to belong to her from now on. I kept protesting, but she didn't change her mind. Then I pretended to give up and then planned to escape, but before I did, I found out exactly why everyone seemed so happy. They all seemed to be happy with her, but the next day I found out that she had drugged them all with some kind of tainted orange juice. She tried to get me to drink it and I did, but luckily I was able to throw it back up in time for it not to affect me and Marcy's a witness to that. After that, I tried to escape from through a doggy door for the first time, but Marcy caught and stopped me before I even got outside. She made a deal with me that she wouldn't tell Chloe I tried to escape that time if I...let her play with me... Then she helped me get the tainted orange juice flavor out of my mouth. After waking up today I tried to escape again and this time I did get out, but it wasn't long before Marcy recaptured me and brought me to her sister to be...punished... She told me that I wasn't allowed to go anywhere without someone else with me to ensure that I wouldn't try to escape again. So here I am, now."

Ria seemed betrayed to hear that her best friend, the seemingly kind hearted girl that could do no wrong was really this lying kidnapper who probably could've cared less for her 'pets'' wants or true feeling. She was still very uncertain about who was telling the truth, since she'd known Chloe much longer than Jill.

Jill put her hands together praying that Ria believed her. She was about ready to break down in tears form suspension as it was, even though Ria hadn't given her an answer yet "Please! You're the only one here who can help. Please Ria, you have to believe me!" Jill pleaded as she started to falter, tears beginning to leak down her cheeks.

Now Ria felt immense tension placed on her. She wanted to believe what Jill was saying about her best friend wasn't true, but at the same time, she felt that Jill wouldn't be acting this way unless it were true.

What does she choose to believe? Jill's truth or Chloe's lie?
