Emilia shifted her massive, heavy coils with a slow, sluggish grace, the remaining bones of the boar clinking softly inside her as she moved. With a soft, contented sigh, she reached out and wrapped her powerful arms around Mati, pulling him close against her warm, red-scaled flank. The sheer heat radiating from her body was like a living furnace, smelling of musk and deep satisfaction. She squeezed him gently, her strength tempered by the lazy lethargy of her food-coma, her blue eyes shimmering with a tenderness that reached far beyond the primal nature of the hunt.

She leaned her head against his, her long red hair cascading over his shoulder like a silken curtain. The rhythmic thumping of her heart, still beating strong after the massive meal, vibrated against his own chest, creating a shared pulse between them. In this moment of absolute stillness, the house felt like a sanctuary, isolated from the rest of the world, filled only with the sounds of deep breathing and the distant, happy humming of Emily nearby.

"Mati," she whispered, her voice a low, sultry vibration that seemed to echo from the very depths of her chest. "The way you looked out there... the way you provided for us, for our little bean... it was more than just a hunt." She paused, her gaze softening as she looked into his brown eyes, her expression one of absolute, unwavering adoration. She knew the instinct to provide was strong, but the care and tenderness Mati showed to Emily—and now to the unborn child—was something far more precious.

"You are so gentle, so patient," she continued, her voice brimming with a maternal warmth. "You have a heart that is far larger than your small human frame could ever suggest." She pressed a soft, lingering kiss to his forehead, her grip on him tightening just a fraction as if she never wanted to let go. "You are going to be an awesome father, Mati. The bean is so lucky to have you, and so am I."

Mati felt a lump form in his throat, a wave of emotion crashing over him that was more powerful than any shock he had felt since meeting the lamias. He leaned into her embrace, closing his eyes and letting the warmth of her body envelop him. He wasn't just a landlord, a technician, or a companion anymore; he was the anchor of a family, a protector and a father-to-be. As he hugged her back, he felt the baby give one last, slow kick against the interior of Emilia's stomach, as if agreeing with everything she had said.
