Stay and look around the table Party Guests/Snacks (choice adventure) chapter 2 by sotired

“Right then, see you around!” Natalie chirps. She steps to the right, circles her hand over a bowl of Ingredient lillies, and plucks one from the pile by the ankle, then dips her in some kind of sauce in a nearby bowl, before walking away to mingle with her other friends, leaving you on the table.

You take a moment to look around the table, spotting a number of places to go. To the right, near to where Natalie was standing, a wide, deep bowl, off-white with some hand painted green patterns on the rim. It’s not overflowing, but you can spot a few tiny arms and heads slung over the bowl’s edge, the few Ingredients who decided to climb up and take a look at the party going on outside their container. From how they’re talking, it seems the bowl is far from empty. Leaning against the bowl is a small ladder, allowing anyone to climb in. 

To the left, you can see plates of small bites and treats, like the crackers topped with salmon and cheese you saw earlier. That particular plate is already half-empty, and you can see many people sitting and chatting in the empty spaces between the crackers, and at least one lying back against the toppings like a bean bag.

Behind those, on the far edge of the table, you can see the punch bowl Natalie mentioned earlier. It’s glass, shaped like a sphere with a circle cut out of the top. Like the bowl of Ingredients, this too has a ladder leaning against it, and you can barely make out a small clip-on diving board near the top of the steps.

Turning around, you see rows of glasses and bottles for a variety of drinks. Beside them is a large bowl of spaghetti in tomato sauce, labelled with a post-it note with the words “No Lillies in here! Also vegan” neatly written across it, and “so no climbing in >:(“ scrawled underneath.
