Arriving near her tattered slippers makes you realize how dangerous most of your ideas were. Climbing her or trying to bother her in any way? If this woman moves her foot a tiny bit you would be done for! Looking around you don't find anything of use either, the house and the flooring might be old, but it was clear they weren't dirty people.

"HEEYYY, OVER HERE, I NEED HELP" You give it a try but of course, the woman is still busy talking on her phone and cooking. Taking a few steps back and looking up you can more or less see what she is doing at the moment, taking something out of the cupboard while holding the phone with her shoulder.

"¿Daniela? Ella no va por allá, y ella sabe a que hora tiene que llegar a la casa si quiere seguir viviendo aqui" ("Daniela? She doesn't go there, and she knows at what time she should be arriving home if she wants to continue living here") The woman seems to be complaining on the phone so you decide to stop until she finally hangs up, no point on trying again. From your beginner level spanish you only got the name Daniela and something about living in the house, you don't know if Daniela is the teenage girl you saw earlier or another member of the house.

"Oh, fuck" you were slowly walking around the imposing woman, not even checking her out or anything, just discovering the virtue of patience in the face of being so powerless, until she starts to take a couple of steps and you quickly get out of her way. A part of you starts hoping she drops her phone so you can quickly run towards it and get discovered, but a quick mental calculation makes you reconsider, a phone is like what, half as long as her foot maybe? It could still easily crush you and leave her discovering a stain.

At least she seems happier now, and finally stops the damn call.

"¿Y cuando nos vemos? Así sea no más para almorzar y tomar una chela" (And when do we meet again? Even if it's just for lunch and having a beer) You barely understand a word from that one, something about eating? But the woman chuckles and leaves the phone on the counter before going back to the stove. Time to try again.

"HEYYY, PLEASE HELP ME, LOOK DOWN- Ack, what the hell is that?" Your plight gets interrupted by what sounds to you like an explosion up there, or the prelude of it, a loud and sharp noise that only stops when she moves something in the stove. You wonder what the hell is she cooking that might need such a thing, even if it doesn't smell that bad at all, just a bit.. thicker than what you're used to smell in a kitchen. Not that you spend a lot of time in there anyway.

"Dani, almorzamos en media hora" ("Dani, lunch in half an hour") She suddenly shouts

"Bueno" ("Okay") You hear the shout back.. ah, she was talking to her daughter. And even if you didn't understand from context you could tell they were going to eat soon.

One last try

"HELLO, LADY, PLEASE HELP ME...." ummm, you pause for a second to recall the right words "HOLA! AYUDA.... POR FAVOR" ("Hi! help.... please!")

With no more sudden interruptions you get more daring, once again getting close to her slippers and trying to shout other words you remember while wondering if it would be better to try one of the earlier options when they go eat, climbing them or scratching them feel like more promising choices to you if they are going to be sitting down for a while.

"ABAJO AYUDA" ("Down help")

"umm.. AQUI, ABAJO, SI" ("Here, down, yes")

What happens next?
