She has finally found you! And she is a kind girl
The giantess covers her mouth while gasping surprised for what she just found. Then, she kneels down, allowing her head to be a lot closer to you, giving her an easier time to look at your tiny form. As you stop waving and get as close to her as possible without risking falling down, she gets an even closer view, and more importantly, a clear show of human behavior.
Still a bit hesitant to believe what she's looking at, she ask in a curious tone:
"¿Eres...una persona verdad? ¿Y cómo...como eres tan pequeño?"("You're...a person right? And how...how are you so small?").
"Yes, I'm a person, and I...don't know how it happened to me either. I just got close to this town after my car broke, and then...now I'm this small." you reply, worried but happy for this. You have finally found someone that noticed you.
Yet, you immediately remembered something: the woman has talked to you in Spanish, and all the words she has spoken had been in that language. It's not a problem for you: you clearly understand it. But...what about her? Could she have understood your English?
As your face turn sour at the worry, the woman noticed, and she ask:
"¿Por qué pones esa cara...? Oh, ¿estas preocupado si entendí tu inglés?"("Why do you make such a face...? Oh, are you worried if I understood your English?")
When you nod at her, the woman gently smiles and replies, saying:
"No te preocupes, jovencito. Entiendo inglés, aunque lamentablemente no se hablarlo. Aún tengo que aprender cómo hacerlo apropiadamente..."("Don't worry, young man. I understand English, although unfortunately I don't know how to speak it. I still have to learn how to do it properly...")
"Is not a big deal...I understand Spanish, so we can still communicate without major issue.", you reply to her, smiling as well. This takes a worry off your back.
Silence ensues, before the woman ask:
"Oye, ¿desde cuándo has estado en esa hoja...?"("Hey, since when have you been on that leaf...?")
Nearly instantly, the woman's face turns to shock, and then worry, finally realizing the answer to her question. Looking down with shame, she exclaims:
"¡Lo siento mucho! ¡Debí...hacerlo...en otra parte! ¡Por el amor de Dios, eso debía ser...!"("I'm so sorry! I should have...done it...somewhere else! For God's sake, that had to be...!")
"No no, don't worry! Even though...it was not pleasant...you had no idea that a situation like mine could even happen. Besides, if had not do it here, you would have never found me, and I would not have someone that noticed my current state." you say, letting the woman know that you're more than willing to forgive her.
"Me...me alegra. Y...tienes razón...no te hubiera encontrado si no fuera por...eso."("I'm...I'm glad. And...You’re right...I wouldn't have found you if it wasn't for...that.")
For the final time, you both remain silent for a few seconds, before the woman says:
"Me acabo de dar cuenta de que no nos hemos presentado. Me llamó Alejandra, ¿y tú?"("I just realized that we haven't introduced ourselves. My name is Alejandra, and you?")
"Denis, my name is Denis. Nice to meet you, Alejandra." you reply, smiling again.
Alejandra smiles as well, before looking at you in a more serious manner straitening her eyebrows, and says:
"Muy bien Denis, me alegra de conocerte. Dado que aparentemente algo que ambos desconocemos que fue o es te volvió pequeño, lo mejor sería que te ayude a intentar resolver este misterio, al mismo tiempo que te protejo de todo daño que te podría ocurrir. ¿Aceptas mi propuesta?"("Very well Denis, I'm glad to meet you. Since apparently something that we both don't know what was or is made you small, the best thing would be for me to help you try to solve this mystery, while protecting you from any harm that could happen to you. Do you accept my proposal?")
When you hear her proposition, you carry one of your hands to your chin, caressing it as you think. After a while, you have thought about it, and reply:
"Yes, I do. Besides, there is nothing better I could do. Not to mention I was hoping to get someone's attention and help."
"¡Excelente! ¡Te protegeré y ayudare como pueda Denis. Nada ni nadie te pondrá en peligro mientras estés bajo mi guardia, lo juro!"("Excellent! I will protect you and take care of you as I can Denis. Nothing and no one will put you in danger while you are under my guard, I swear!") Alejandra exclaims, while raising a fist to further emphasize her message.
You giggle a little at the action of the woman. She looks like someone with energy, and bodyguard vibes. Something tells you that it's a good idea to trust her. You say:
"Thanks, Alejandra! I'm glad to count with you to help me! Especially such a beautiful woman!"
At that moment, you bring your hands to your mouth, blushing red with embarrassment. Where did that came from?! You ask yourself in your head.
Meanwhile, Alejandra was first caught surprised by your words, to only then blush as well and say:
"Vaya, me alegra que me encuentres bonita...siendo honesta, tú también eres alguien apuesto Denis..."("Wow, I'm glad you find me pretty...to be honest, you're also someone handsome Denis...")
"Thank you..." you reply weekly, still reeling about this whole awkward situation.
Alejandra just smiles while putting a hand besides the leaf. Clearly, she wishes for you to hop on instead of grabbing you.
You do as expected, and climb on it. Immediately, you sit on the palm, no longer having to worry to bend the surface beneath you with your tiny weight.
Then, in a very controlled and slow way, Alejandra stands up, while saying:
"Muy bien, Denis, ahora iremos a mi habitación del hotel. Ahí, aprovecharemos de organizar como vivirás conmigo por el tiempo venidero, al tiempo que investigamos acerca de tu estado actual. Quien sabe, puede que tengamos suerte y encontremos una forma de devolverte a un tamaño normal."("Very well, Denis, now we will go to my hotel room. There, we will take advantage of organizing how you will live with me for the time to come, while investigating your current status. Who knows, we may get lucky and find a way to return you to a normal size.")
You nod as reply. Now, this is good. You have someone to help you at last. You can only hope that with Alejandra's help, you will get back to normal.
