As the goddess pondered over where she wanted to go, a sudden thought popped into her mind. It was so random and yet she found she couldn't ignore it. For some odd reason her ex-husband Dirk was plaguing her thoughts.
Why...?
She hadn't thought about the man in ages and here she was now with power of a goddess in the palm of her hands and the first person that comes to mind is the abusive asshole she mustered up the courage to divorce.
Just thinking about him made her angry. She purposefully went out of her way to ignore him and erase him from her life, so why now of all times was she thinking about that pathetic waste of life?
Was it because her got off easy?
After the divorce she took him to court for his abuse but due to a lack of evidence he was let go. There was no justice. He didn't answer for his crimes and what he'd done to her and her children. Maybe that's why she had him on the brain?
That, and she found out recently where he'd taken up residence in the city.
Yes, that was it. This was a sign. He needed to be the first one to truly feel her wrath. For years he'd been bigger, stronger, and lorded over her with an iron fist. Now she had the power to make him regret ever laying his hands on her.
"Hey Edna, buckle up. We're going for a little trip."
The geek girl looked nervous. :Where are we going?"
The goddess began to start walking towards the city, her footfalls creating large tremors as she did. She glanced down at her daughter and smiled. "We're going to pay your father a little visit."
Edna looked shocked before breaking out into a grin of her own. "It has been a while since we've last seen him."
"I agree."
As the pair headed into the city, Edna couldn't stop her mind from racing. While she didn't like having her glorious invention stolen from her, she couldn't help but feel satisfied that her mother was going after her father. Besides Heather that man had a special place on her shit list reserved only for him.
The nerd was broken from her thoughts by the sounds of crushed metal below and the screams of terrified civilians. "We're here." Laura boomed.
Edna looked ahead to see a small apartment complex next door to a small strip mall. "That's where he's staying?"
Laura nodded. "Oh yeah." the giantess reached into her cleavage and plucked the ginger between her fingers. She lowered her to the ground and smirked. "Why don't you go knock?"
"Sure."
"He's in room 404."
The geek nodded and ran into the apartment complex, eager to get this show moving. She found the designated door... and knocked.
