The Dark Side Beckons Revenge of the Geek Gal chapter 10 by copier · original author: madjack

As the two girls stared into the other’s eyes, Edna could see a change come over Heather; it was as if she was a smartphone powering back on. The vulnerability and hesitation that had defined her for the past few minutes melted away; clearly, Edna returning her kiss had restored the girl to full confidence. The towering blond straightened her posture, and the maliciousness seemed to return to her face.

There was something else, though: a smirk. A sort of glee. Her natural cruelty wasn’t aimed at Heather; if anything, she looked like the two of them were in on a shared joke at everyone else’s expense.

Edna shifted slightly, unsure of what to say. She suddenly felt small again, until she felt Heather’s long, slender fingers rest on her thigh in a show of reassurance.

With her free hand, Heather spun the size gun around her fingers like a cowboy after a trick shot. “So…who else is on your hit list?” She asked calmly.

Edna was surprised by the question. “I…I didn’t make a list…I didn’t plan anything after you.”

Heather chuckled, finding the lack of planning cute. “C’mon…everyone has a list of people who piss them off. I can’t be the only one who got under your skin. Who else has been giving you grief?”

Edna considered the question. “I guess…Trish Pierce-“

She barely got the words out before Heather nodded in agreement, gripping the gun. “Oh, that psycho definitely needs to come down a notch.”

If Heather was a social bully, Trish was a far more…physical bully. A delinquent and MMA buff, she never ignored the opportunity to shove Edna into a wall, or trip her as she passed. Hers was a much more base cruelty, but unlike Heather, she didn’t seem to have it out for Edna specifically; almost everyone in school seemed to be on her bad side.

Trish’s one positive trait, Edna reflected, was that she wasn’t intimidated by Heather. Social pressure wouldn’t work on Trish, and while Heather was by no means physically weak, she either didn’t consider herself a brawler, or didn’t want to lower herself to Trish’s level. The two gave each other the berth of rival predators in the same territory.

It never occurred to Edna that Heather might resent her inability to sway Trish through fear, but the beautiful blond bully’s eagerness at the prospect of shrinking her down did seem to indicate deep animosity.

“Well…we don’t really have to mess with her. If…maybe if you asked her, she’d lay off me,” Edna offered.

Heather’s fingers squeezed her thigh reassuringly. “Don’t worry about it, Edna. We’ll shrink that bitch down until you can just beat her to death. And then even further, until I can squish her like the big she is.”

The casual violence was surprising. “You…you wanna kill her?”

Heather raised an amused eyebrow at her new beau. “What were you going to do to me, if your plan had worked?”

“I don’t know!” Edna repeated. “I didn’t think that far…”

Heather smiled. “God, you’re cute. Listen, Edna…I don’t think you understand what you have, here. We can do anything to anyone. If someone tries to stop us, we shrink them until they’re toe jam. With this power, we can rule the school, and the whole town. There are no consequences for us, and I definitely have a list of people I can’t wait to squish between my fingers.”

Edna shuddered. She always thought Heather was a monster, and now she realized she was right: despite her affection for Edna, the only thing keeping Heather under wraps was the constraints of society.

It was terrifying…but also thrilling. Edna didn’t understand her own feelings; was part of the reason she accepted Heather’s advances that she found such viciousness…attractive? Sure, villains were hot in anime and comic book movies, but…

She bit her lower lip when Heather leaned closer. “Trust me, geek…this is going to be awesome.” Those slender fingers tightened their grip on Edna’s thigh, transitioning from reassuring to possessive…

1) Edna’s far too enticed by Heather to say ‘no’.

2) Edna’s far too hesitant to agree to Heather’s plans.
