"Well I gotta ask the first question... why me?" you ask.
A light tremor resonated through your feet as the large mare smiled. Was Lexi giggling? "Why not? Is there something wrong with you?" she asked, her face seemingly getting closer.
"No... just want to know why you... 'adopted' me. That's all. What made me stand out?" you ask, feeling incredibly, magnificently tiny right now. Your sister's face seemed incredibly concerned, softening up.
"What do you remember before now?" she asked. Try as hard as you could, you really couldn't. You remembered your homeworld, your name (Alan), and the fact that you had always been an orphan. But what had happened?
"I... I don't remember." you replied, anxiety rising. Confusion and fear overtook your mind.
"Calm down Alan." said your sister, sensing your emotional turmoil. You felt gentle pressure upon your shoulders, and warmth overcome your body. It felt like you were being hugged. Confused you looked up, and saw a mental projection of Lexi hugging onto you. It was about 10ft tall, and her arms were wrapped around you. Now that you saw her at a more reasonable height (sorta kinda), you found her to be quite beautiful.
"It's alright." the projection reassured, kissing the top of your head.
"Can you... stay with me?" you asked her, sobbing at this sudden, unexplainable predicament. Even in her embrace you felt utterly alone in the cosmos. Smiling, the Lexi construct nodded as she sat down, hugging you tightly. The face in the distance moved away, no longer needed to interact with you at the moment.
You thanked her, hoping it wasn't too much of a strain. She assured you it wasn't.
"I'm sure you have even more questions now." joked the construct, rubbing your back. You chuckled as you leaned up against her.
"You can say that again. So... what happened to me?" you asked.
The construct sighed, another small tremble rumbled in the distance. "Are you sure?" she asked, worried that the truth would cause him more problems. You nodded.
"Yes... yes I am." you replied.
"Well... okay. You see..."
