Everything is bigger in TEXAS. When the Anthros Came to Town chapter 18 by copier · original author: eggzsupreme1

Ah, Texas. The state of big hats, livestock and freedom. Anyways here's a little backstory to set the stage

The first anthro settlers that arrived in Texas accidentally brought some fauna from Zoonova. The average Zoonovan tick was completely harmless to the colossal anthros, but the smaller ones were the size of a car. In an environment where they have no natural predators they thrived, attacking livestock, devouring crops and assaulting people, causing billions in damages. The invasive species was eventually restricted to the area of Texas thanks to human and anthro efforts. To this day swarms of Zoonovan ticks cause problems for farmers. The good thing is that an Anthro who's ready to get his or her feet dirty could make a fortune as an exterminator. Bad thing is that a lot of people still hold a grudge against the anthroes for introducing this invasive species.

A new neighborhood means new neighbors, new neighbors calls for a new introduction page:

The Humans

Alan: The main character, you!

Stanton: An old fashioned farmer in his sixties. Holds a grudge against most anthros and you to an extent, because you live among them

Emily: One of the few humans in town and Stanton's daughter. She is tolerant towards anthros unlike her father.

The Anthros

Della:A giant cowgirl. She's Betty's older cousin and your new caretaker. Small world eh? Appearance wise she resembles her cousin a lot: pudgy, hard working and cheery. She's heard a lot of good things about you and plans to get to know you better. She works for Stanton and helps around the farm, her boss respects her enough as to not call her names.

Trish: A well toned, giant anthro rattle snake. When she was a little kid and her family was out for a walk and she spotted some Zoonovan tick over the sidewalk on a warm summer day, she always went there and stomped the absolute slime out of the tiny insect. Then she looked up at her parents as if she expected a compliment. Now she does much of the same, except she gets paid to do it. She seems nice but you're not sure how to feel about her. She mostly wears short jeans and a short shirt that reveals her well toned abs.

Emma: A skinny Coyote anthro. She is an apathetic grocery store cashier, who consistently sounds as disinterested as she can possibly be. She has a liking for you, stating that you're the only person in town who doesn't bore or annoy her to death on a daily basis. Usually wears really skimpy clothes.

Jessie: An chubby anthro Buffalo. She runs the local bar where they serve both humans and anthros. You don't drink much, but Della often insist that you come along to the bar. Jessie has nothing against you, as long as you don't cause trouble or loiter in her bar.

Opal: An giant, anthro gargoyle. She can usually be found wearing long jeans and a white shirt. Her cheery and nice persona hides a dark secret. Recently she has been acting very suspiciously around you.

So are you just landing or have you spend some time with the cast already
