When the Anthros Came to Town

As the fight broke out, the authorities had the upper hand, they had several strong anthros on their side and Sapphira's flunkies were taken out one by one. A cerberus anthro on Sapphira's side was the first to fall and at the hands of a tiger anthro while a mountain lion cop held down a phoenix anthro long enough for a tank to strike him with knockout gas. One dingo anthro cop had trouble with a pegasus anthro but a lioness anthro came to his side and knocked the pegasus out. You watched from a safe place as even the destructive Topaz was knocked back by a large tortoise anthro. As her opponent turned his back on her, Topaz took out a giant knife and tried to stab him but was shot at by an attack jet in the face. The griffin anthro shrieked loudly as the tortoise man turns back and pins her to the ground, breaking her wings.
Soon, only Sapphira is left and she is not giving up without a fight. That horrible dragon easily makes short work of the human tanks with her intense flame breath and as a couple of jets fire at her, she crushes them in her hand as she gives an angry snort. But then the leader of the riot squad appears, a tall black panther anthro in green armor with a mullet and a red eyepatch walks forwards to confront Sapphira. "Shadow." Mutters Sapphira. "Your rampages ends now dragon," says Shadow. "You're under arrest." Sapphira just breathes a huge torrent of flames at Shadow as you let out a scream. Shadow however holds up a shield to block Sapphira's flame breath. "I'd like to see you try!" yells the dragoness.
It's time for the deciding battle. Shadow rushes at Sapphira as she continues to breathe fire but then he jumps into the air and fires at the dragoness, forcing her to use her large wings as a shield. Shadow kicks at Sapphira and manages to land a blow to her face before she responds by biting him in the arm. Shadow scratches Sapphira in the face and then slashes her across her large chest. Sapphira breathes fire again and this time Shadow is in the direct range of the fire. But he endures and delivers punch after punch on Sapphira's face and manages to knock out a few of her fangs. Sapphira scratches Shadow but he holds up a paw to protect his good eye. You bite your nails as you watch the assault. The remaining tanks try to help Shadow but Sapphira knocks them away with her tail before flying up into the air to get an advantage as she continues to spew flames. But Shadow just jumps into the air and grabs hold of Sapphira as they wrestle in the sky.
Sapphira attempts to breath fire but then Shadow grabs her by the mouth and stops her. All Sapphira succeeds in doing is burning her own mouth before Shadow grabs her by the wing. Sapphira shrieks as Shadow pulls her to the ground. Shadow turns Sapphira around so she's in direction of the crash. The two anthros fall to Earth with a massive quake strong enough to blow you several miles across the ground screaming. Looks like you didn't choose a safe enough spot. But as you get up, you see that Shadow has triumphed as the rest of the anthro cops come to his side. "She's unconscious. Hold her down until the armored car comes. She's still dangerous."
Soon, an anthro sized armored convey appears and you look up at the sky and let out a yell of victory as you pull back your fist. Good has triumphed over evil. Sapphira has been defeated and you had a hand in it.
The next day you're listening to the radio as you wash dishes and you hear a report about last night. "Last night was a dark night for Coalton Shores. The infamous Sapphira and her gang arrived at an anti-anthro rally and attempted to destroy our town. At least one hundred humans were severely injured, including our own Mayor Bloomberg." "Only injured? They could've at least killed that jerk." "But fortunately, the same human tortured into giving the location of the meeting to Sapphira notified the police who made short work of the evil anthros. Coalton Shores was saved from a terrible fate." You turn off the radio and smile to yourself. Sapphira was finally behind bars.
You think everything's over, but then you heard a tapping on your roof, you had company and it sounded like anthro company. You decide to go to the door to see who's there.
