When the Anthros Came to Town

You knew that you were going to regret this later on, but morals wouldn't allow you to leave Coalton Shores in the claws of such terrible creatures. You whipped out your cell phone, dialing as fast you could, bringing it up to your ear, shaking a little. This was something really big. Lives were at stake."Hello? This is 9-1-1, what is your emergency?"A female voice answered on the other end of the line. You couldn't tell if it was an anthro or human answering the phone, the officials had both working on it now.
"Y-yes..."You gulp."I would like to report...something really big."
"Could you repeat that sir?"
It's Coalton Shores, a really small mining town. Y'know Sapphira, that really terrifying anthro criminal? She's going to attack the town...tonight."
"Sir...are you serious?"Her tone questioned you.
"Please...just send someone. Lives are at stake here...human and anthro."You shuddered. It was true. Even though Sapphira fully thought anthros were the superior species, she was known to kill her own kind who sided with the humans.
"Very well, we have squads heading that way sir. Thank you for your call."
You thanked her back and flipped the phone shut, looking off into the distance. It was going to be one hell of a night for such a tiny town.

By the time you had arrived back in Coalton Shores via bus(For Sapphira had taken you to another town not too far away), things were already heating up. Earthquakes rattled the planet from twenty anthros stomping across the landscape, their massive feet bulldozing the ground beneath into paste. Smoke rose up from the human side of town, and you could make out Sapphira and several of her cronies around her gleefully torturing the small humans below.
You felt sick.
But, more stomping and groundshaking. You looked off to the horizon, only to see hope. Several anthros clad in riot armor or police uniforms were heading for the terrorists, backed up by tiny human tanks by their feet and fighter jets buzzing around them to aid in any way possible.
There was about to be a big showdown in Coalton Shores.
"Y-yes..."You gulp."I would like to report...something really big."
