As you gaze up at Meena's face, a small twinge ends up pulling your heart strings. Seeing her looks so distraught was enough to make even the coldest of villains look down in shame, well to your mind at least. Seeing as how it wouldn't hurt to check out the suit, you give a shaky sigh and nod. "Alright then. I guess it wouldn't hurt to check out the suit real quick."
Meena's eyes brighten ever so slightly by your words as she quickly shakes her head feverishly. "r-right." she replies as her huge palm soon descends right before you. "Climb on, i'll take you to my room." While the whole idea of entering a girl's room might seem awkward, let alone somewhat pervy in the eyes of others. You've known Meena for long enough that you visited her so called 'lab' for years now. Upon clambering onto the side of her finger and making your way to the middle of her palm, you motion a thumbs up towards her face. "All prepped." you call out, like an astronaut about to get blasted off to the stars. Stifling a small giggle, the giant bat girl slowly rises up as she begins to turn face back into her home.
After a few minutes of walking, Meena soon enters into her room as she places you ever so caringly upon her desktop. Like usual, the surrounding wooden top is covered in books and other sets of metallic devices that you could only guess were her other experiments at hand. "Looks like you've been pretty busy." You admit as you make your way towards on large book spine that seemed to read 'chemical mixing 101'.
"Well....I guess i'm just the type of anthro who loves research." Meena replies in a kind yet flustered tone as you see her rummaging about below in a wooden box. Curious, you make your way towards the edge of the table side to peek down at her. “Here it is!” she beams as her head rises up like lava erupting from a volcano, causing you to stumble back in shock. As you try and regain your footing from the sudden shock, your eyes ascend towards the upper half of her body, as her right index finger and thumb were pinching something in between. Noticing your curious expression, Meena lowers her hands before you as she gently pulls back her fingers to reveal her so called ‘Suit’.
“That’s…the suit?” you ask perplexed as Meena nods her head. “What do you think?” She returns as your eyes begin to draw upon the odd design of the protective attire. Strangely enough, it looked almost like a mix between an astronaut’s suit and a diving suit manufactured in the 20th century. In fact the helmet seemed to be nothing more than a metallic dome with a circular hole cut right in the middle. As you were busy her creation, Meena begins to catch on to your perplexed reaction.
“Is something wrong?” She asks as she tilts her bat head at her own question. “Well…It does look like something that can withstand some pressure.” You admit as you walk on up and gently give the odd helmet surface a knock. “Of course.” Meena nods. “I managed to fashion the suit using a highly tolerable plastic.” “Plastic?” you ask, questioning whether or not such material could withstand something like acid. “Yes, but not just normal Plastic.” Meena reiterates. “it contains a sturdiness and well defense that’s enough to withstand many harmful materials.” She states. “Including digestive juices.”
Surprised by her sudden explanation you can’t help but eye her and the odd suit multiple times. “Well…say I do go inside your body.” You begin. “How can I communicate with you? Let alone breath in you?” Meena’s face brightens up even more by your questions, as if she’s slowly raising her hopes on you considering the task. “Well, I managed to install a small radio device in the suit.” She begins with the first response. “With that, you should be able to talk to me with ease. And as for air, well I was thinking maybe giving you some oxygen through a pump outside.”
“Wait…you’re planning on just keeping a pump stuck to the suit the whole time?” you asked completely confused. “Well…it would not only give you oxygen, but it would also help me pull you out in case there was any accidents.” The sudden mention of accidents brings a small shiver coursing down your body as Meena continued to stare down at you. With all this work she did, it definitely would seem like a jerk move to turn her down now. However, the unpredictability of the whole event could lead to serious trouble. After seconds of inner arguing, you give a long exhale before gazing back up to her eyes. “Meena-“
