"Well, if it isn't dear old Ingrid." The voice coming from the world outside your daughter's ear sends more than a chill down your tiny spine. That's Rogue - the sadistic lady who unfortunately Ingrid has copied in style, if at least thankfully not in personality. Your daughter and her have an odd relationship from what you gather - Ingrid certainly admires her enough to copy part of her dres code but isn't so keen on the woman herself - a thankful triumph of fathering on your part.
The pair attempt some form of half hearted conversation and you realise with more than a smige of thanks what Ingrid is doing - ensuring Rogue is unaware of your close presence. You still recall with some disgust the number of close calls you had with the stupid overgrown goth in the years gone, and why she is still into such things at the age of thirty, not to mention still friends with December (who at least appears to have overcome some of her sterotype) is beyond you. Still she manages to chat well enough to your daughter and opting to trust that as long as you don't speak you shouldn't cause Ingrid undue irritation and thus expose your hiding place you move slowly and deeper into your daughter's ear, slightly smug that at the size of a hundredth of an inch you crawl well enough into the darkened passage and out of sight from any evil villain.
As you reach the turn off you ponder silently how to proceed. Do you trust your current place will keep you safe until Rogue is finished and stay here, or do you take the opportunity to head in further into your daughter's ear and try a bit of careful exploration to pass the time?
