They were running far along the rive. The battle recently had been fierce. The battle in Lior had left thousands of Liorians dead and 7,000 soldiers dead. What happend to them? That was simple, they were now part of a suit of armor. More importantly, this suit of armor was a certain bodiless boy named Al. And beind him was a small pip-I mean older brother Edward Elric, the famed 'Fullmetal Alchemist'
Having taken the secret passage way through Lior's underground sewers. They had been separated from the Liorians as they tried to escape. They were now running along a stream in the middle of the woods which both boys knew lead to their hometown of Risembol. As they ran farther from the region, escaping the homnuculi and the military both boys began to relax and slow down their pace.
"Boy, that was a close one wasn't it Al?" Ed said to his little brother.
"Yeah, brother. What do you think happend to Rose?" Al asked him.
"I don't know Al, she probably got out find. After all Lyra is with them." Ed said, flopping onto the ground sighing. "Man that was a close one. Almost thought they had us."
"Yeah, it was brother." Al said quietly. He didn't want his brother to know what had happend to him. The fact that Scar died turning HIM into what they had been searching for so long for. But what was worse was that all the flesh, blood, and souls used to make it were also apart of him. "What do we do now brother?"
"Beats me, let's just go and figure out a plan later." Ed said. Turning around, he saw that his brother's body was cracked in certain spots. Getting up, he walked over to his brother.
"Let me help you with that Al." Ed said, clasping his hands.
"Brother there's no need, I am perfectly fine!" Al said sweatdropping as he back away slowly. He was afraid of what would happen if his brother came in contact with his body.
"What are you doing?" He said walking closer to his brother "Stay still so I can fix you up."
"There's no need brother really!" Al exclaimed, but Ed would not hear of it. As he walked backwards, Al suddenly felt himself trip over a large rock. "AAAAH!"
He screamed as he crashed into the ground.
"Now you'll let me fix that mess!" Ed said angrily. Frustrated by his brothers strange behavior. Getting closer he clasped his hands upon Al's body.
"Brother! You shouldn't have done that!" Al shouted as a massive red light engulfed them both and then as the radiant red light of the Philosiphers Stone faded, there stood....
