Washu opened her eyes to see that she was in an alley. The first thing she noticed was the light. It was clearly daylight but it was also night at the same time. It took her a moment to realize that a total solar eclipse was occurring and it was happening directly above. The last time Washu had witnessed such an occurrence was years ago in North America.
"Where are we?" asked a voice.
Washu looked to see Urd right next to her. At least a dozen people were there in the alley including that odd rabbit/human hybrid that had came from the Dark Ocean.
"Oh, of course I would wind up in the same dimension as you two" said a voice. The voice came from a man that wore green and had a shield on his arm. The man was facing a man with blond hair and had a long spear in one hand. The spear weilder was standing next to a woman with mauve hair.
"How did we get here?" asked Princess Myne.
"Emergency Dimensional Transport" said Washu. "I managed to activate it just before the cafe was destroyed"
"We're all not here" observed a young teenage girl with orange hair looking around.
"I haven't perfected the transport system yet" said Washu. "we were all sent to random dimensions"
"Aren't you a god?!" barked a young girl in a military uniform. "surely you wouldn't rely on such a system. You could just snap your fingers and sent us to anywhere"
"Whatever that red burst did" said Washu. "it temporarily erased my powers"
"Of course it did" replied the girl rolling her eyes.
"You ought to be more grateful" said Urd, glaring at the little girl in the uniform. "you wouldn't be alive without Washu"
"Washu should've acted a lot more sooner" said the girl in the uniform. "she should've known what was going to happen before it did if, in fact, she's a god"
"Alright, who are you?" asked Washu.
The girl scowled for a moment before snapping to attention. "I am Major Tanya Von Degurechaff"
"Aren't you a little young to be in the military, little girl?" asked Motoyasu.
Tanya glared at Motoyasu and was about to launch into a tirade.
"Uh, guys?" asked the girl with the orange hair who had wandered out of the alley. "I'd say something weird is happening here"
Urd walked out of the alley followed by the others save for the rabbit who looked to be unconscious. There were bodies on the deserted streets and sidewalks of the city. There was something unnatural about the way the bodies were positioned as if they had been in the middle of an action before they were all rendered unconscious. Washu walked to the nearest body to her and examined it.
"They're alive" said Washu as she opened the eye of the unconscious young lad. The eyes of the lad were vacant and empty.
"What's wrong with them?" asked Raphtalia, a girl with racoon ears and tail.
At that exact moment there was a pulse of some kind that ran throughout the city.
"What was that?!" asked the girl with the orange hair in a fearful tone.
"I'm not sure.." said Washu. "I can't sense....."
A vast whirlwind suddenly appeared in the darkened sky. It was a tornado made from red....things. The tornado was made out of millions of the red stuff. The tornado reached high in the sky before it started to fling off the red stuff. The red stuff went absolutely everywhere in the sky. As the group watched, a red fragment went directly to the young lad and the entered his body. It took a few more minutes for the young lad to regain consciousness. The boy coughed for several minutes.
"Their souls were out of their bodies..." said Urd. "who would have the power to do that?!"
Tanya snorted. "As if you need to ask"
"Okay, you're really getting on my nerves!" yelled Urd turning around to face Tanya. Tanya smirked at Urd which seemed to make Urd even more angry.
"I say we check on what's happening" said a young girl in skimpy clothing and pink hair in pigtails. "that tornado came from somewhere in that direction"
"Something tells me someone needs all the help they can get" said Naofumi.
The woman with the mauve hair snorted. "We don't need your help, devil of the shield"
"His name is Master Naofumi!" snapped Raphtalia. "Now please be quiet, Princess Bitch"
"THAT'S NOT MY NAME!" shrieked Myne. "you will address me as--"
"You're not royalty anymore" said Naofumi. "thanks to your mother"
"Don't talk to her like that!" yelled Motoyasu rushing in front of Myne protectively.
"My hero!" beamed Myne.
"Your sycophant you mean" said Naofumi.
Just then, the rabbit/human leapt from the alley and nearly landed on a car. "You are sure noisy out here! You interrupted my beauty sleep! Naughty, naughty"
The others just stared at the fifteen feet tall rabbit\human hybrid.
"Who the hell are you?" asked Tanya.
"Who am I indeed!" said the rabbit in mock indignation then she shrugged. "who can say, who can say? I know not my name for I've been gone for longer than all of you have been alive. I was spirited away by eldritch things long, long ago! They tortured me something fierce so I just had to let go! They twisted my body into this new form, I've long forgotten from where I was born! Now that I've escaped from where I was, I can surely cause some mischief so let's have some fun!"
The eyes on the ears of the rabbit started to open. The eyes on the ears of the rabbit was a spiral that had all of colors of the rainbow in it.
Half of the people in the group started to giggle madly once they had looked at the opening eyes on the ears directly. Then they let loose loud mad laughter.
"Err..what's happening?" asked Naofumi who wisely looked away once the eyes on the ears started to open.
"It's an attack of some kind" said the girl with pink hair.
"Attack, attack!" said the rabbit in a mocking voice. "Am I hurting you in some way? Then I shall have to part ways! I'd turn the whole world mad if I must, I'll laugh at the thought of who you might trust! How can you possibly trust someone who's now mad, I ask! I've lingered here for too long, guess I have to go look for some more fun!"
The rabbit then took several leaps and was out of sight.
"We'll deal with her later" said Washu. "for right now, let's see what's happening"
