The palace in Washu's stomach had a total of ten guards. Although that seemed like a small number of guards it was more than enough to deter anyone from attacking Seto. Seto wasn't called The Devil Princess of Jurai for nothing. Nobody messed with Seto, not even Kagato. Most of the guards were guarding Seto herself while the other guards were scattered throughout the palace.
Haruko and Naota were on the second floor in search of a teleport. The two had heard about such a device through scuttlebutt on the balcony.
"It has to be around here somewhere" said Haruko looking into a sizable lounge . She sighed and continued on with her search with Naota in tow. The two walked down the corridor for a bit until they heard voices from a room up ahead.
"So, she's was cute huh?" asked a feminine voice with laughter in her voice.
"To be fair she really was" came the voice of Myorzo. "Honesty, Seto usually picks out the dumpyest of women for me"
"And I'm what?" asked the feminine voice . "Chopped liver?"
" You know that you're the only one for me, Ayane" said Myorzo. "You're still my pirate goddess"
" A name more suited for Ryoko Balta" said Ayane. "Half of the GP worships her"
Myorzo chuckled. "It's a pity nobody worships you the way I do"
"Oh hush" said Ayane.
Haruko and Naota entered the room. Inside the room was Myorzo and that red-headed aide that was seen earlier. The aide had her hood down so that her face was revealed. The aide--Ayane--had dark red hair that came down to her ankles. Ayane also had numerous scars on her face as well as an electronic eye that replaced her left eye. A rather large scar ran through the electronic eye and ended near her collarbone. Ayane was rather beautiful despite her scars. When Haruko and Naota entered the room Ayane and Myorzo was in an embrace near a wide control console. Ayane was caressing Myorzo's chin with one of her hands.
"Aww, young love" said Haruko.
Both Myorzo and Ayane broke apart from their embrace and looked at the two people that had entered the room. Myorzo flashed a brief smile at Haruko before turning his attention to the console in front of him.
"It seems that someone scrambled the coordinates of the teleporter" said Ayane turning to face Haruko and Naota. "James here is trying to fix it. He's an expert"
Myorzo glanced at Ayane. " I never said I was an expert. My father was an engineer. I picked up a few points from him"
"You were able to hotwire the controls of my bed chamber the very first night you were with us" said Ayane.
" I was trying to impress you " said Myorzo.
"You just didn't want to scrub the decks" said Ayane.
" I told you I'm no good at cleaning " said Myorzo.
"So" said Haruko. "A member of a pirate guild is an aide to Lady Seto"
"Not just a member" said Ayane. " I'm the head....err....was the head of the Myorzo Guild after my dad died"
"And James is an adoptive son of Seto..." said Naota.
"It's complicated" said Myorzo. " I was picked up by the Myorzo guild after I saved Ayane from the bar fight I told you about. I was accidentally picked up by the teleporter of their ship. I was press-ganged into serving the guild. I sailed with them for a little over a year before I was rescued by Lady Seto by a particular vicious fight with the Daluma guild"
"That was when I became an aide to Lady Seto" said Ayane. "The Myorzo guild was a guild that attacked other pirate guilds almost exclusively and not on innocent people"
"Intriguing" said Naota .
"How novel" said Haruko.
" It was never a large guild... " said Ayane. "And I'm sure it wasn't the only guild that attacked other guilds"
Myorzo was still typing away at the console . That was when someone else entered the room. It was that man with the brown hair with a braided ponytail.
"What's the holdup?" asked Duo Maxwell.
"Someone was trying to sabotage the transporter" said Myorzo. "I fixed the electric side and now I'm trying to reenter the coordinates"
It was then that Naota noticed that Ayane was holding a piece of paper that had coordinates written on it.
" Who would sabotage it? " asked Duo to nobody in particular.
"No idea" said Myorzo. "Whoever did it covered their tracks. As far as I could tell the transporter was set with new coordinates and then was blasted with some sort of a gun"
"Are you close to being done?" asked Haruko. "I have no desire in exiting Washu the....um, normal way"
"We're all for that" said Myorzo dryly as he typed the final numbers with the help of Ayane.
"And......done!" said Myorzo.
" Alright " said Duo. "Let's test it out"
A shimmering light appeared in the transporter room located somewhere in Washu's lab. Three people appeared in the medium-sized room: Haruko, Naota and Duo Maxwell.
"Hey it worked!" said Duo with a big smile on his face.
" Yah I guess it did" said Haruko with a toothy grin.
Naota was the first to exit the transporter room. Naota found himself in the main area of the lab. Again. Next came Haruko and then Duo.
Naota glanced toward the console that had the Dimensional Tuner right in front of it. There stood Android 21. It looked like the android was talking to Monika.
"So you were lonely" said Android 21.
"Yes-yes-yes-yes" said the glitched voice of Monika. "I was in a world of plastic and my c-c-clasmates were nothing more than robots following their scripts. I was horrified when Sayori killed herself. I just wanted to change her in a subtle way. I never intended to kill anyone-anyone-anyone. The more I tried to make the other girls undesirable things only got worse a-a-a-and worse"
Haruko, Naota and Duo walked passed the console and the good Android 21.
"Lady Har-Har-Haruko" said Monika. "It might interest you to k-k-know that the demigod responsible for destroying your vespa has returned with two females for a m-m-meal"
Haruko paused and grinned. "Oh really? Time for some punishment then"
