The common room held a lot more than the Olympic-sized pool. The pool was located in one of corners. The other corners contained what looked to be small private rooms. In the center of the room was a fountain that had a statue for each member of the Consortium that now included Haruko. The statue of Haruko had red-tinted glasses and the hair was done in a small bun that looked like Princess Leia save that there was only one bun.
The room also contained what looked to be a Virtual Reality rig in the corner directly opposite of the pool.
The room was perhaps the size of two football fields and the pool took up at least a quarter of the room altogether. The pool had private little coves on the edges divided by thin paper walls or by piles of rocks that were ten feet tall. Each cove was big enough to be a pool in its own right and could hold at least ten people easy.
Haruko was sitting perhaps ten feet from the nearest cove on a long beach chair surrounded by her newly acquired belly pets one of which happened to be one of Naota's old classmates, Gaku.....although it took Haruko some fifteen minutes to finally recognize the smooch-obsessed boy......or, man since years had passed since Haruko had last seen him. She also had trouble recalling Gaku's name since the two were never formally introduced; Haruko only knew him as "smooch" and Gaku only knew her as the "kiss kiss girl".
It turned out that Gaku had arrived at The Dimensional Cafe a week or so ago. Haruko wondered if more of her son's old classmates would be here.
"[This is the first time I ever met a new god]"
Haruko snapped out of her thoughts when she had heard a voice speaking in Divine Language. She opened her eyes and saw that cat was there.
"[This is the first time I saw a cat as a god]" replied Haruko.
" I'm no mere feline " said Beerus, a vein going on his temple. "I am Lord Beerus, God of destruction"
Haruko eyed Beerus. "And why is a god of destruction here running this place? Shouldn't you be out there destroying things?"
" When the mood strikes me I destroy " said Beerus.
"I suppose the mood strikes you when your litter box needs cleaning" said Haruko.
Beerus glared. " Why are you spoiling for a fight? "
"I'm just like that" said Haruko showing teeth. "Why did you come over here? Not to get insulated I would imagine"
" Like I said I never saw one of the new gods before " said Beerus. Beerus then narrowed his eyes. "Wasn't there some kind of scuffle between Earth's gods a few decades ago? Whis told me all about that"
"I remained neutral in that.....scuffle as you call it" said Haruko her voice had the slightest edge to it.
"Indeed?" asked Beerus raising an eyebrow .
"Music should be neutral " said Haruko.
"Then why are you making me angry if you're supposedly natural?"
" I just like to annoy people " said Haruko.
