Aisha sighed.
"Yes"
Jim and Gene had stopped fighting and shook hands as making up. Aisha and Melfina went upstairs to Aisha's room. Jim couldn't believe his ears when Melfina wanted to unbirth him too. In a way, he was glad that Melfina offered to be his other mother. But, that was impossible. A person couldn't have two mothers, just one.
In Aisha's room, Melfina and Aisha talked.
"Why can't I unbirth Jim?" asked Melfina.
"Because he's my little baby" said Aisha.
"The thought about unbirthing Jim is driving me crazy" said Melfina. "Let me unbirth him. He already views me as a mother...and that happened long before this"
"No"
"Please?"
"I said no!" yelled Aisha.
"Could we have a timeshare with Jim?" asked Melfina. "you could have him on weekdays and I can have him on weekends"
A slight pause.
"No" said Aisha.
"Stop being so stubborn!" yelled Melfina. It was odd that Melfina was showing emotion, for she did have them. She just usually keep them in check.
There came a knock at the door.
"Come in" said Aisha.
It was Jim.
"Aisha, I want Melfina to unbirth me" said Jim.
"WHAT?!!" asked Aisha. Why didn't he call her 'mom'?
"I viewed Melfina as my mother as soon as I saw her" said Jim. "I don't know why I did it. Maybe my real mom looked like Melfina. I never knew my real mom...and hardly knew my dad"
"Little Tiger..." said Aisha, using her name for Jim.
"And anyway" said Jim. "I want two foster mothers, because I didn't know my real mom"
