Angela jingled her keys as she got into the front door. Steve was in her front pocket, rambling about the janitors at the hospital conspiring against him. She wasn't really paying attention, it'd been a long day of meeting after meeting with management. All she wanted to do was get in and lay down.
As the front door swings open, they both find it odd that Tulip or the kids are nowhere to be seen. As they walk upstairs toward their bedroom, they hear Jenny through the door. Angela decided to check on the kids first before changing in their bedroom. When she opens the door, it only opens a few inches before bumping into Jenny, who was still sitting on the floor talking to Jet.
Jenny grabs her little brother and stands up to let their parents in. She's still a little dizzy from what happens but she's feeling better by the minute. "Jenny, what happened?!" both her parents ask in unison as they spot the newly forming bruise on her head. "I ran into the door...", Jenny explains in a slightly embarrassed tone. "Where was Tulip?" was Steve's followup question.
Tulip was supposed to be in charge, you thought to yourself. Where was she when this happened... in fact... where is she now?... You wait for Jenny to answer but she just shrugs and says, "I asked her if me and Jet could play in the room for a while. I don't know where she is."
You look up at you wife and urge her to check your bedroom. When you two open the door you find her, the oaf, passed out on your bed. You wake her up, furious that she was sleeping on the job. Tulip tries to explain that it was just a little nap, but you are so mad that you won't hear it.
"Obviously, you aren't fit to watch our kids!", you shout. "I think it's time for you to leave, Tulip" Angela says, more passively. Tulip walks out of the room and down the hallway. Before heading down the stairs and leaving, she looks back at the kids who were peeking out of the room.
What happens next?
