Jet was still young, so he didn't really know a whole lot about checking to see if someone's okay, but he judged the fact that she was still breathing a good sign. He'd walk up to her forehead and check it, since that's where she hit the door. It was already starting to redden from a bruise, but it wasn't really a big one from what he could tell. So, since his young mind thought it had checked the facts well enough, he started shouting.
"Jenny! Can you hear me?! Wake up!"
Jenny moaned a bit from the pain on her forehead, but obliged the request and opened her eyes. She looked a little out of it, but otherwise okay. Well, he was sure his parents would find out anyway, given the slowly deepening color on her forehead and they would be able to tell if she was alright far better than he could. His sister moved from laying face down on the carpet to a sitting position as she blinked the pain away.
"Jet, why did you run?" She sounded more upset by him not wanting to play than the injury she just got.
"I...I got scared. I mean, your foot is huge compared to me and..." He stopped when he saw the realization click in her mind and it looked like that upset her even more than before.
"I'm sorry, Jet! I just thought it'd be a fun little game. I mean, you've recovered from everything else I've done with you. I didn't mean to scare you."
"It's okay, Jenny. I didn't mean upset you by running. I just didn't think."
The sound of footsteps rapidly heading up the stairs cut him off as either Angela or Tulip was coming.
