Crack! Snap! A sound was heard above Maya.
"Whoa!" Maya yelled in shock as her cuffs snapped and fell to the floor. She landed on her shins and knees as she checked her belly.
"A bit sore from the beating but you seem okay." Maya thought as she crawled towards the three and checked on them.
"They're all dead." Maya said as she offered s prayer to them. She saw no life in their eyes as she closed them one by one.
"I guess this is what happens if you mess with the divine fetus. Well served you right!" Maya thought.
She searched their bodies but found nothing of interest.
"Best I get out of here in case more occult members come." Maya said to herself.
Maya stood up and ran towards the door. She quietly opened it and peeked to see if the coast was clear. She slowly closed the door and ran as fast as she could.
"I should get back home before Ami and Kozue get back from school." Maya said to herself as she went down the stairs.
