They went back downstairs as they heard voices coming from the kitchen. Puzzled, they looked towards the kitchen to see the mother, father and the daughter(Saki) having a fun conversation. It seemed Saki was testing a recipe her mom taught her and her father praised her for it.
"What's going on?" Eiko asked.
"Memories of their past lives." Yayoi explained.
Then there was a distortion wave.
It pans to the same scene, but this time Saki is holding her mother. Her mother's head, dripping with blood.
"Mom! Mom! Say something!"Saki pleaded.
Her father opposite of her on his butt, shaken up." It was an accident! We only had a minor argument and I pushed her but I wasn't expecting her to hit her head on the countertop!" The father explained.
Eiko and Yayoi could only feel sorry for the family.
Another distortion occurred.
This time it was in the living room of the house. Saki was crying, her father on his knees, his head in between them. Yayoi and Eikos noticed lots of notes. They called them murderers, there were threats for them to leave. Saki was crying.
Then they saw an old man in a wheelchair with a woman behind him.
"Do you want to be saved?" Said the man in an omnios voice. "Then I'll teach you a ritual and Angel-Sama will save you."
Saki stopped crying as her eyes darken and she smiled.
Another distortion occurred. This time it was in Saki's bed room. Eiko and Yayoi noticed that the futon was larger than normal.
"Saki! No this is wrong!" The father pleaded.
"Please! Father! We have to do this! This is how we're going to be saved!" Saki pleaded.
They heard grunting and moaning as Eiko was stunned what was happening. Incest was happening before them.
Another distortion occurred.
This time it pans to the shower. They saw the girl holding up her newly born baby. It seemed she had given birth in there as the infant was crying.
"Soon, paradise will be open for us!" Saki said in a manic tone," This is the body Angel-Sama will dwell in. With this we will be saved!"
Saki began to choke her own child as she began to laugh like a maniac. A dread filled Eiko as Yayoi began to ponder.
"This is the reason behind their murders. It was due to the death of their mother and they wanted to be saved." Yayoi thought.
"That man in a wheelchair taught them a ritual which was on the second floor. The daughter firmly believed it. So they needed it to give birth to their Angel-Sama." Yayoi thought to herself as she began to piece together everything she's known so far.
"The altar was probably made using a real human but was probably removed by police when they raided the place. What is left here is a residual thought of it which is why it's in spirit form." Yayoi thought. She began to create a timeline of how the ritual works. " The first step was to create an altar where this Angel-Sama would be born in. They used the mother's dead body. The crack in the skull made it evident that it was indeed their mother's dead body.The second step, was to murder the offspring that the father and daughter created which would serve as a vessel in which Angel would be born in. The child's soul was used as a nourishment for the embodiment of Angel's base form. Step three, required them to commit mass murders. The souls of the deceased fed the Angel till it grew to it's current size."
Yayoi summerized.
"This was a happy, normal family. It was ruined by an unfortunate accident leading them to perform a horrific ritual in thought that it would provide them with salvation and enlightenment. So they committed in mass murders for the ritualtaught to them by that old man in a wheelchair." Yayoi thought, coming to a conclusion. "The overlapped process of creating an evil spirit were against their intention. Worst of all, it was against their will in false thought it would provide them with salvation."
Yayoi made a thinking gesture as she stood in the empty room with Eiko. "It seems to finish the ritual. This Angel needs a living woman to be born in. It would invade the woman, making them pregnant to give birth to it. Thus, the death of the police officer was probably why."
Yayoi now knew why Angel invaded Eiko. Eiko was chosen to become the new mother of the Angel! She looked at Eiko.
"Huh? What is it, Yayoi-chan?" Eiko looked at her cousin in a confused manner.
"Mama." Said an eerie, familiar infant voice that echoed in the house.
