Despite only having poked the Angels with Nariti's finger a couple of times, both of the faces were already receding from view! Soon enough, Yayoi was staring at Eiko's smooth, flat belly, free from the grotesque veins, faces, and other signs that the Angels had been inside her cousin!
"W-what is it, Yayoi-chan?"
"The Angels... they're gone!"
"What?! Where... where did they go?!" Eiko let go of her sweater, though Yayoi grabbed the hem and held it up before it could fall back down to cover all of her cousin's belly.
"Hmm... that's strange. It really doesn't look like they're inside of you... if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't even know that they're inside of you. They might have gone dormant."
"That's a good thing, right? Eiko asked nervously. She didn't like the idea of having those Angels inside of her, but it was better for her if they weren't causing trouble, right?
