Keitaro was still recovering from his injuries from the last ghost hunt so Yayoi and Eiko partnered up once more to the haunted mansion. It was a long drive despite taking the free way. After over an hour of drive, they finally reached their destination. There they saw police tape and keep out signs. Eiko parked her van near by. It was sunset when the two arrived.
"So how do we get in, Yayoi-chan?" Eiko asked as they looked up at the massive mansion.
The two storey mansion had a European style to it as the two gazed upon the haunted site as it also had an omnious presence. Despite Yayoi or the ghost hunt magazine not giving a grade to the haunted site, it was still dangerous but the two needed to figure out the real cause of deaths. Eiko being the thrill seeker was both nervous and excited to see what was in store for them even though Keitaro wasn't with them.
Eiko noticed Yayoi rummaging through some foliage as she came upon an entrance hidden beneath it. "Here! I noted how others go into here but the wasn't on the police report." She answered.
Yahoo wearing her usual outfit while Eiko wore a large yellow sweater hoodie with denim shorts, black stockings and running shoes. She had her hair tied in twin ponytails that dangled on both sides of her body. The two snuck and came upon the entrance.
"Have you noticed anything yet, Yayoi-chan?" Eiko asked.
Yayoi nodded, "I do sense a presence but it's rather weak. I can't tell whether it's the infants or the woman. Let's go inside."
Eiko nodded as they entered through the large, wooden front door. It creaked loudly as the two entered.
"We're coming in!" Eiko and Yayoi said in unison but the only sound the heard was their own footsteps as well as the echoes of their voice.
They wandered the large mansion as Eiko made a map using her laptop. Yayoi still hasn't found where the spirits are which was confusing her but continued to search and fill the map.
After over an hour of searching, "Weird they haven't made their presense known." Yayoi muttered in a concerned tone. "Have you finished the map?"
"Yeap! But why haven't they shown themselves yet?" Eiko asked curiously.
Eiko had passed the map to Yayoi's cellphone as Eiko saw Yayoi in a thinking gesture, "Well, it could be we need to be alone for them to appear."
That sent a chill down Eiko's spine. She didn't want to be apart from her cousin but for the sake of solving this case. She agreed.
"I'll take the 2nd floor, you search the 1st floor." Yayoi told Eiko. "You have all the things needed to protect yourself, right?"
"Check!" Eiko replied happily as Yayoi nodded. "Then let's split up, notify me if you find something."
The two spilt up. Yayoi had her usual stuff minus her alien doll which was with Eiko. Yayoi also gave to Eiko that was in Eiko's backpack, salt, black rope and some ofuda along with a two way radio connected to a headset in case their phones die.
