As Eiko lifted up her button-up sweater with a curious look on her face, Yayoi approached her cousin, hoping to see that the curse markings had faded and that her cousin's life was no longer in danger.
Just as she'd hoped, the markings- which had been a solid black at first- slowly started to fade, before disappearing altogether!
"Good. Eiko, I have good news. The curse marks faded away. You should be free of the curse." She said, with a small smile spreading on her normally placid face.
Eiko let out a huge sigh of relief, slumping back on the floor of the house with her palms on the wooden floor.
"Oh thank God! I'm... Ooh..." Eiko suddenly moaned, one hand going to her bare stomach, still exposed because she had her sweater lifted up.
"Eiko?" Yayoi bent over curiously, wondering if there was some lingering holdout of the curse. Getting closer to Eiko's flat stomach, she put her face right up close to it-
*BWUMPH*
"Oof!" Yayoi grunted as she was suddenly bowled over as Eiko's belly BALLOONED up, swelling so enormously in the space of just a few seconds that Yayoi was knocked over by the sudden bulk of her cousin! And not just knocked over, but Eiko's belly was so massive that it was actually pressing down on top of Yayoi, pinning the little girl underneath it!
"A-ah! What the heck?! I thought you said the curse was gone!" Eiko screamed in fright, the worries in the back of her mind telling her that she was doomed. The panicking girl awkwardly shuffled back- and to Eiko's consternation, she found that it was hard to do so, her body simply unused to so much weight in her midsection.
She was able to scoot back enough that Yayoi's head was no longer covered by the massive belly, at least.
To her credit, Yayoi didn't seem to be panicking. Rather, there was a confused look on her face.
"How strange... Sorry, Eiko. I think that having you swallow the bone wasn't the right decision after all... It obviously led to... this..." Yayoi grunted, feeling the tremendous weight of Eiko's expanded belly squishing down on top of her.
"Y-you! You said I'd be fine! I-I can't go around looking like a bloated whale! How's Kei-kun supposed to princess carry me now that I weigh more than him?!" Eiko cried in distress, distraught at this turn of events.
"Eiko, calm down! I don't sense any evil energy, and... the angels seem to have turned into physical bodies, so you should be out of danger..." That being said, something didn't seem right to Yayoi. Eiko was huge- even bigger than she should've been even if all three angels had turned into normal 9-month old fetuses.
Almost like...
'Saki! The ghost of that girl must have somehow been absorbed into her as well, being converted into a fetus as well...' Yayoi thought to herself. How fitting- for the girl who had caused so many murders- including several where she had caused young women to gruesomely explode- the girl was now stuck inside of a womb herself.
But wait...
Yayoi's eyes widened slightly, her normally stoic expression becoming slightly alarmed.
'The evil energy that was inside of Eiko... it's mutated!' Eiko was out of danger, sure. But Yayoi had a sinking suspicion that Eiko really wouldn't like to hear what she was about to say...
"Eiko... It seems that the evil energy from the angels and Saki somehow mutated inside of you. Acting as a shield of sorts on your uterus..."
"Um... that's good, right? It means that my womb is a lot stronger now."
"Yes... and no. In fact, I'd say that your womb is too strong. That shield inside- I don't know how to dispel it without hurting you, since it isn't evil in nature. And as long as it's in place... it'll keep the fetuses that the three angels became- as well as the one that Saki turned into- inside of you.
Yayoi could practically see (barely, past the massive pale mountain covering most of her body) the blank look on Eiko's face as the young woman processed her younger cousin's words.
Finally, after another few moments...
"WHAT?! You mean I'm STUCK LIKE THIS?!" Eiko shrieked, eyes widening to the size of dinner plates.
Yayoi nodded silently. The haunting of this house had been resolved, and the murders would never happen again... but she couldn't call this a total success- not when the price had been Eiko more or less becoming permanently pregnant at a size bigger than most women ever reached in their own pregnancies.
"N-no! I can't be stuck like this! I'm huge! I'm a whale! My belly looks like an overinflated balloon!" Eiko cried, feeling miserable. She was a bit of a thrill seeker, but this wasn't what she'd wanted!
Down below her, still feeling the weight of the massive tummy pressing on her, Yayoi could only lie back, pinned in place. At least Eiko seemed perfectly healthy- there were surprisingly no stretch marks at all on Eiko's huge tummy.
"Um... Eiko? Could you get off of me? You're... really heavy..."
"Argh! Don't just tell me that!"
Though despite her frustration and ire, Eiko did shuffle back awkwardly, finally freeing her cousin.
Looking at Eiko, Yayoi saw...
1) Eiko's eyes are red and puffy from crying. She's not happy about this development and needs to be comforted.
2) Eiko's boobs ballooned up massively, befitting a woman at full term with quadruplets! Maybe Keitarou likes huge boobs?
3) One of the fetuses is kicking up a storm inside of Eiko, but not hurting her thanks to the internal shield. Saki must've woken up.
